Absolutely lovely food and service from the staff. Just came across this place while walking around looking for a restaurant for dinner and was so lucky to find here. Very tasty Thai, perfect really.

Tasty Thai food with nice flavours in Bos en Lommerweg. The papaya salad was authentic with good texture, and the terrace has good spacing to enjoy a quiet lunch in the street. If you're looking for real Thai spiciness, you can find it here.
We found a big fly in the sweet and sour shrimp dish. Very expensive compared to quality (also not considering the fly) in my opinion. We called to complain and the lady at the phone could not even apologise (she did after we reminded it is good manner to). The offered a replacement dish.
Great takeaway. I had one of the daily dishes (only €12!) and the food tasted amazing. Also had vegetarian loempia’s as a side. It was great sitting outside in the sun while you wait for the food to be prepared 😄

Voor €40,- aan Thais eten gehaald bij deze tent. Eerste en laatste keer! Groente is zo groot en rauw, KrabPauw zou ik besteld hebben. Ik krijg toaal wat anders. Komt niet eens in de buurt. Ananas in de currie, echt not done ook!
Incredible place! Location has a gorgeous view. Great food, nice and professional staff! Portions are good size, and delicious! Soo worth to try! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Very pretentious place which aims to serve fine dining Thai, yet the food was just average and very overpriced. We got the 2 soups as a starter and then 2 mains of chicken/pork belly which were super spicy and so tiny (35€ each). service is very rude, the waiter was never accommodating and didn’t like us not speaking dutch. wouldn’t recommend. EDIT: The aggressive reply from the restaurant tells a lot about how they value customer feedback!

What a perfect Thai restaurant. I didn't realize we had such a fine Thai dining experience right under our noses here in Amsterdam. The curries here were fantastic, very silky, rich and really a wall of flavor explosions in your mouth. Such interesting dishes and friendly service. I will be returning to try more.

If you are looking for great Thai food in Amsterdam this is your place! Portions are large, and delicious! The staff are very friendly, which is very much appreciated when you are a tourist. We were a group of 4 good eaters, ordered a main dish each, two beers each, and two starters to share, and paid 112 euros (28 euros each). Highly recommended!
Everything was very very good. We ordered two dishes and shared with two beer and it was reasonably priced. Food was served hot and stayed hot with their serving plate warmers.

While the food was great, service was not. We were among the first customers in the restaurant and after our entree dish we saw the room filling up and other customers getting served main dishes and leaving while we were kept on hold for at least 40-45 minutes after our entree dishes without any explanation. We tried our best to find out what was happening, this was not easy since it was tough getting a hold of the server and we were told twice the orders were coming right up - Only the second time this was true. A drink order didn't make it to our table so I guess it's safe to assume this also happened with our main orders.
Mistakes happen, owning up to them would be nice. Especially if you ring up the register full price after all this happening without blinking.

We stumbled across this restaurant by luck. Super great discovery, the lady taking our orders was kind and the food was good and affordable. We'll come back to try more dishes!
I’ve ate and ordered from Muang several times. The food is always delicious and super fresh. The staff are super friendly too.

Red Elephant is an ok Thai restaurant, dishes are ok, sufficient and tastefull. Staff was ok but we were addressed in English while we speak native Dutch. Price is €€
Have been to many Thai restaurants around the world including Thailand and this one is one of the best I've had. The flavors are exquisite and unique - Pad Thai a staple everywhere had something special. The Tom Kha was just the right mouth watering sweetness, and the Satay had a beautiful deep fry coat with subtle spices and tender tasty. Highly recommend!
Hidden Thai gem in Amsterdam with amazing food (including many vegan/vegetarian options) and warm hospitality.
We had the Som Tum salad, Tom Kha soup and the tofu with red chilli paste (all vegetarian) and were very impressed by the taste and portion sizes!

It’s a new place, cool atmosphere! Only women are working at the open kitchen, they also talk Thai to each other quite loud which adds to experience! Food is good, it’s not the best Thai food I had but it’s good, I would go back! We ordered drunken noodles and fried rice! Fried rice was delicious and portion is huge! They don’t serve alcohol just non alcoholic drinks.

I recently enjoyed dinner at Chock Dee Thai restaurant in Amsterdam and had a wonderful experience. The cozy ambiance and warm welcome set the tone right away. I began with Satay Kai and Tom Yam Kung, both delicious, but the Tom Yam Kung was particularly remarkable for its authentic Thai flavor. The main courses, Phad Thai Neua (Rice Noodles with Beef) and Pla Tod Krop (Crispy Sea Bream with Thai Herbs and Cashew Nuts), were both superb, showcasing exceptional attention to flavor and presentation. The menu was easy to navigate and offered a variety of vegetarian options. We concluded with Mango Sticky Rice, a perfect ending to our meal. Generous portions, attentive service, and the friendly owners made our visit truly memorable, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in Amsterdam!
De gerechten zijn heerlijk gekruid. De geurige ingrediënten zijn goed te proeven. De kip met kokos melk en bamboe scheuten werd warm gehouden met een kleipotje onder de vuur. Ook hebben we de vis gerecht genomen met knoflook. De gerechten kon met rijst gekoppeld worden of bamie. We hebben de kokosroomijs als toetje genomen. Wat past als afsluiter voor de gerechten. Wat me is opgevallen zijn de authentieke bestek wat me erg bij hun interieur past. Een rustig gezellige sfeer met tegelijkertijd ook wel goed verdeelde tafels zodat je niet gestoord wordt door andere tafels als je een gesprek had.
We ordered from their website yesterday and the food was AMAZING!! I never leave reviews but I had to because this is hands down the best Thai I ever had in Amsterdam and absolutely comparable to some of the best Thai I had in Thailand. The Fishcakes are amazing, the mango sticky rice is delicious and the garlic rice-noodles dish and their satay sauce were sooo tasty and everything is super fresh and homemade. This was more than enough to share between two people and the delivery guy was so kind and friendly. All in all this one deserves 5stars and will be our new go to Thai Restaurant.

Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist gemütlich und einladend, perfekt für ein entspanntes Abendessen mit Freunden oder mit der Familie. This is my go to Thai food on home delivery. The Thai curry is really tasty and spicy. Love the pad thai too. Great veg options.
This was our first time trying this neighborhood restaurant. I ordered Tom Yam Kung (spicy lime soup with shrimp) and my partner and I split the Prik Thai Dam (garlic and black pepper stir fry with shrimp and veggies). We didn’t have much expectations going into but after trying the soup it got our attention. Flavor bomb in your mouth! The stir fry was just as good. And the shrimp (my partner agrees) were some of the best we’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back and try other amazing things on the menu!

Ristorante tipico che offre piatti della tradizione tailandese. Non è un luogo particolarmente curato ma il cibo è davvero eccezionale! Spettacolari i rotolini Pohpia Kat con salsa agrodolce, come il Kai Phad Med Muamuang. Gustoso il Phad Thai Kung, abbondante e ricco di gamberi

Modern Thais restaurant waar alles prima is: de inrichting, de netheid, het eten, de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding, het personeel, de sfeer, de muziek. Ze doen hier echt hun best en met veel aandacht voor details. Al het eten komt heel vers over. Meeste gasten verlaten de zaak met een doggy bag.

I recently visited Sukhothai Thanee located in the center of Amsterdam, and it was a fantastic experience. While I have a soft spot for their Beef Stew in Massaman Curry, every dish, from the Crispy Sea Bass to the Grilled Ribeye in Panang Curry, burst with authentic Thai flavors that transported me back to Thailand. The Mango Sticky Rice for dessert was a sweet finale that perfectly complemented the savory dishes. The attentive and friendly staff enhanced the dining experience, and the chic and elegant interior added to the overall ambiance. In conclusion, Sukhothai Thanee is a hidden gem for those seeking fine dining with authentic Thai cuisine in Amsterdam. With each dish crafted with care and attention, it is a culinary journey you won't want to miss.
Yesterday we had dinner here with mu team. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. In addition the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy. Nice detail is the serving robot that is playing birthday music. Last but not least: the food is amazing tasty and very fresh. Definitely a must go to when you are around. René.

I had the pleasure of eating here last night. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time, the food was delicious and fresh, the sushi presentation was gorgeous and the atmosphere gezellig and classy.
Tucked away little gem of a restaurant and so worth it. Coming from the Pacific Nw where delicious Thai food is abundant I was craving something spicy and this place did not disappoint. The waiters were both awesome and made me feel so welcomed. Food was exceptional, and very creative. Highly recommend!

Authentiek Thais eten, vers gekookt, vers en smakelijk, ik begrijp niet waarom niemand dit restaurant kent? Ik hoop dat meer mensen ervoor kunnen kiezen om de groene curry kiprijst, Thaise garnalen gebakken rijst, heel goed te proberen👍❤️
Lecker, freundlich, trubelige Atmosphäre. Der Restaurantleiter ist sehr unterhaltsam und mit Leib und Seele Gastronom und Gastgeber. Das Personal ist insgesamt freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gegen 18 Uhr ist es auf Schlag sehr voll geworden. Wer es ruhiger mag, sollte die Besucherzahlen auf Maps checken. Es gibt auch noch mindestens einen weiteren Wagamama in der Innenstadt. Der ist ebenso zu empfehlen.
Wir haben hier spontan ein Abendessen genossen. Das Essen war super-lecker, teilweise ist aber nicht ersichtlich, dass ein Gericht eine bestimmte "Grundschärfe" mitbringt. Für den ein oder anderen eventuell ein Problem ;-) Das Konzept ist "modern", man bestellt via QR-Code auf einer Website und bezahlt über diese auch. Leider ist das etwas umständlich, wenn man keine Kreditkarte dabei hat. Paypal wird beispielsweise nicht unterstützt. In unserem Fall konnten wir "altmodisch" über eine Servicekraft bestellen und bezahlen. Kleiner Kritikpunkt ist besagte Servicekraft, da diese - zumindest in unserem Falle - nicht sehr aufmerksam war und wir relativ lange auf unser Essen warten mussten. Abgesehen davon ein toller Laden.

Ich war bereits zwei Mal bei Wagamama in Amsterdam. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielseitig. Das Essen ist extrem lecker, die Portionen sind reichhaltig. Leider ist es preislich ziemlich teuer, deshalb der Stern Abzug. Trotzdem würde ich auch noch ein drittes Mal zu Wagamama gehen:)
Don’t trust the bad reviews- this is an amazing place. We live nearby and have been to Mchi several times already, few times with friends or family who also enjoyed it. One of the best sushi in Ams, also good service.
Wow wow wow wow. Just stumbled upon before heading to the cinema. Something quick not spicy and... small and I got this huge bowl of fried rice with chicken and veggies. Omg was thinking I will request a dog bag and go to the cinema with that 🤔 and guess what... ate everything as it was soooooo delicious ... fantastic work chef ! Giving 4 as need to try main courses and properly spicy....;)

We have been going to this restaurant for almost 3 years now and I can very confidently say that this is the best Thai food you can find in Amsterdam. The flavors of each and every dish are so well balanced and wonderful. The service is great and the decor is very beautiful. The owner and chef are very nice and friendly people. A must go Thai restaurant in Amsterdam. I highly recommend it! Deserves a 10 stars.

It was rather disappointing. First of all we ordered "salad with chicken, shrimps and vegetables" it is number 20 in their take away menu. Guess how many shrimps where there? Just 2!!!!! I ordered it because of shrimps, as I like sea food. When I told the woman that there were only 2 shrimps in the salad the answer was "Yeh". Yeh? Sounds a strange answer for me. I insisted and said it again, showing to the menu, that it had to be "salad with chicken, shrimps and vegetables" so there should be shrimps. She said that this is the way it is, in this salad there should be 2 shrimps only. Then it should be written another way, I believe.
Second, we ordered a meet dish that comes with rice. We asked if we can change the white rice for fried rice, and the answer was yes. Still when we got the bill, we had to pay the full price for fried rice as a separate dish, thought we did not take white rice.

Second, we ordered a meet dish that comes with rice. We asked if we can change the white rice for fried rice, and the answer was yes. Still when we got the bill, we had to pay the full price for fried rice as a separate dish, thought we did not take white rice.
