This area has it all, with some BBQ stations, a decent play area and the beach nearby. A wonderful way to spend the evenings with the kids.
One of the stop-offs when travelling south on Bruny Island. Worth a brief 5 minute stop-off when driving down to the southern part of Bruny Island. Sign from Bruny Island Arts Adventure Inc.

When we encounter the enormous mass of a whale, we are struck by the insignificance of our own form and thus realise the true relationship that we share with our world. This work is a meeting place for the community and people who visit the island and a source of discussion and acknowledging the symbiotic relationship that we have with the other inhabitants of Earth. The inter-generational dependence of mother and calf depicts the continuity we experience from past and present.
Another good off leash park right round the other side of the oval to another off leash park. Great for when sports are being played on the larger park.

There's also a child's play area, outdoor gym and BBQ/seating area located nearby. The grounds are less-well kept than the adjacent dog park, but still great nonetheless.
Definitely one of the better dog parks in Parkdale! A huge open area that's fence on all sides (albeit with no fence where the off road parking is).

Plenty of dogs here so great for socialisation, and dog owners generally pick up after their dog.

When sports are on, the remaining space is limited, so best time to come is very early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Lovely dog park with a small agility track and plenty of open space. Off-leash dog park area is clearly marked, with the rest of the area being on-leash only.

There's a children's play area, picnic areas and toilet facilities in the park, alongside various sport pitches and tennis courts.

Great park, would definitely recommend for dog owners.
