Amazing spot to come and take in the views of the Doha skyline. Just amazing and so peaceful by the water. We loved our visit.

We visited this historic palace on our visit to Riyadh. The inside museum was on maintenance and not open during our visit but we enjoyed the outside area and reading about the significance of this palace and fort in the history of Saudi Arabia. We really enjoyed our visit. This is a must visit for history lovers and I highly recommend.

We had dinner here on our visit to Diryah. While the food and the service were very good, the prices are simply outrageous. Our bill was $188 USD and of course no alcohol. We had 4 of their signature watermelon drinks not reading the menu that they were $14 per drink. Crazy price. While good, not $14 per drink good. Tourist trap!!

The food, atmosphere, and service was good, but not $188 good for two people (one main, two appetizers, one side, one dessert).

Sometimes one has to learn the hardway. 😀

I visited this past week during the May 9th celebrations. A really great area in front of the National Assembly. They had live music, stands representing various European countries. Plenty of food and drink stands. Exhibits for kids and familes. Everyone was having a great time. Sits right in front of the Arch and in front of a beautiful park. Loved my visit.
