They charge €2.60 for EACH small glass of tap water... guess it's their way of a guaranteed tip...
I had asked for a glass when I was seated, along with a gin.

Hier gibt es den besten Falafel-Yufka den ich je gegessen habe. Ganz arg netter und lieber Service auch wenns mal um den Mittag stressig wird ♡
Though the restaurant was empty, he refused to seat a group of 5 people as we were only planning to have drinks. I understand that table space is expensive and at busy times, it may not be worth seating a table just for drinks but his attitude was awful and definitely didn't encourage us to come in for food! If he was nice and turned us away politely, it may have been a different story!
If you're in the area and looking for some good German potatoes and traditional fare, this is definitely what you're looking for. Conveniently located right across from St. Marienkirche, it's an easy stop to sit either inside to enjoy the Deutsche Kneipe vibe or outside to enjoy the great view of the nearby Neptunbrunnen and Fernsehturm. The service is super friendly and attentive. Since it's a touristy area, the prices are slightly higher, but it means the staff are patient and happy to help with questions. That said, we were hoping for a little more in the food arena. The schnitzel was a little thick without a lot of flavor, and the potatoes were underwhelming considering it's their specialty. But given the convenience and volume of possible dishes, I may need to come back and give some other potato variations and one of their other more prominent entrees a chance. In the meantime, Prost!
I had a dinner alone so the bill was 19 EUR. I wanted to pay with card but they told it is possible only above 20 EUR because this is their own policy. I do not think that a restaurant policy can stand above the national law, they should have to accept the card. Anyway they do not allowed but asked for tip as well. (In Germany tips are generally not mandatory.)

Best service and very tasty traditional German dishes. Service personnel are very attentive and polite. The environment also seemed to have German traditional elements, which overall created a German environment. Beers are certainly delicious. In total, two beers and "Ofenfrische Schweins hax'n" cost 33 euros
Ein mega Restaurant das Essen ist 1A und die Bedienungen sind auch sehr freundlich und kompetent. Kann es jedem empfehlen hier mal essen zu gehen.

Le repas est copieux et servi rapidement. Un repas de qualité et proposant de nombreuses spécialités nationales (et berlinoises).
Pour ne rien gâcher, les menus sont disponibles dans de nombreuses langues et l’addition est plus que raisonnable.

Belle expérience. Restaurant vraiment typique. Ambiance à l'intérieur sympa, la cuisine et le service étaient très bien. Carte traduite en français. A faire sans hésitation.
Leider waren wir alles andere als begeistert. Wir haben sehr lange gewartet und das Schnitzel war nicht durch, die Cordon bleu waren gut. Leider kamen auch die Beilagen, nicht wie bestellt und Bedienung war sehr gestresst und deshalb leider sehr unhöflich. Schade, kann ich nicht empfehlen!
Escaping the cold, gloom, and rain to this warm, lively restaurant was a relief. The whole place was packed with what sounded like happy chatter in between bites.
There are tons of items on the menu, mostly foreign to us. The waiter was kind and patient and recommended a few dishes. I ordered #29 and out came this massive plate of three different meats and a choice of potato.

Have amazing atmosphere,so kind and friendly workers,complately delicious foods include vegetables and patato.this plate is really too much for me .i didnt eat all of them.Nearly all countries money you will see in this bar.I dont like to eat pork beacuse of this i ate mix plate without pork and i like it.
Ein wunderschönes kleines Restaurant. Das rustikal/antiquare Ambiente strahlt so eine Gemütlichkeit aus und lädt zum verweilen ein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und schmecken einfach richtig, richtig gut!!! Würde jederzeit wieder kommen und einen Besuch definitiv empfehlen.

Reservierung hat super geklappt. Sehr freundliche und umsichtige Bedienung. Essen sehr lecker, allerdings könnten die Portion ein wenig größer sein. Die selbstgemachte Limonade ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Heute Abend einen Yufka für 8,50€ gegessen. Leider nicht zufrieden stellend, die Portion war allgemein viel zu klein und es war im Verhältnis zu wenig Fleisch enthalten. Leider keine einmalige Erfahrung dort. Alaturka hat meiner Meinung stark nachgelassen...
Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend zu viert. Ambiente und das Essen waren einfach fantastisch. Wir empfehlen sehr gerne weiter, ein Besuch lohnt sich für jeden Geschmack :)
Einfach ein gutes, sehr leckeres gut bürgerliches Restaurant. Essen hervorragend, Bedienung und Service sehr nett. Wenn es voll ist, kann das Essen ein bisschen dauern, aber das warten lohnt sich.

My son opted for the classic Eggs Benedict, while my husband and I indulged in the Kickstarter and Salmon & Yummy options. Every dish proved to be delicious, with a special mention to the delightful avocado cream cheese and the freshly baked croissant that captured my heart.

Sehr gutes Essen und wunderschöne und bequeme Einrichtung! Die Karte war übersichtlich und das Personal sehr nett. Im Lokal ist eine offene Küche, dadurch kann es dazu kommen, dass man danach dann auch etwas nach Essen riecht, was bei uns aber eher weniger der Fall war.
Stumbled upon this place in the evening and sat down for dinner. Firstly, the beer is legendary, the "oldest" brewery in the world, and it is a great beer. The food was nice and with large portions. The service was great. Prices are quite high though.

Für mich der beste Döner in der Innenstadt in Kirchheim. Fleisch und Brötchen ist top. Ein Stern Abzug bzgl der Größe des Döners und wegen dem Preis (8€ mittlerweile).
Une découverte délicieuse à Zur Gerichtslaube ! Ce petit restaurant traditionnel mérite ses éloges. La poire frite au bleu en entrée était une véritable pépite gustative. Le cadre est magnifique avec une architecture charmante, et l'ambiance chaleureuse du lieu se reflète également dans le service. A recommander vivement pour les amateurs de saveurs traditionnelles et d'une ambiance accueillante.
Cuisine traditionnelle excellente et bière maison. Incontournable pour un séjour à Berlin.

She also rolled her at us when she came to take our order, and we weren't completely ready yet...
I mean you can roll your eyes at customers, but dont let them see it...
And as a finishing touch, she asked for a tip, I kindly said, no sorry we won't be giving any tip. To which she responded we never have to enter the restaurant again...

Guter aufmerksamer freundlicher Service, gemütliches Ambiente, gute Qualität der Speisen. Da die Küche hinter der Theke nicht abgetrennt zum Gastraum ist, ziehen die Gerüche in den Gastraum. Die Portionen könnten etwas größer ausfallen, der Espresso war nur ein halber, insgesamt aber ein gutes Restaurant.
Meine Familie und ich hatten einen wunderbaren 1. Weihnachtstag. Das Menü war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Great location and atmosphere. The size of the menu is relatively modest, but the portions are pretty big. The food was tasty, I especially enjoyed pork schnitzel. And finally the service was great, everyone was attentive, kind and professional. Definitely recommend.
Something a bit different from the usual and being in Berlin again was great! The pork knuckle well... I say no more! One of the BEST meals I've ever had!
The choice of beers is also excellent and the Weihenstephaner is always an absolute. Nice staff, super friendly and overall a great experience! Not one to forget.

I love the soft meat and it's just like melted in your mouth. They have a good beer as well that fits the food you order.
Es ist ein tolles Restaurant und wird von 4 jungen sehr angagierten Jungs betrieben. Sie machen ihren Job mit so viel Spaß und Leidenschaft, das erlebt man sehr sehr selten. Das Essen (Vorspeise,Hauptgericht und Nachtisch) und die Getränke (Sprizz, Limonaden und Bier vom Fass) waren ausgezeichnet gut. Reserviert euch unbedingt einen Platz an der Theke. Den Jungs zuzuschauen ist ein Erlebnis. Ich bekam sogar das Rezept vom Nachtisch verraten! DANKE!!
Essen ist war große Auswahl, aber für diese Preise nicht empfehlenswert. Die Gänsekeulen waren toter als tod gegart und ähnelten einem gummiharten Fleisch. Die rote Bete Gnocchi waren deutlich zu lange gegart und wurden in einer zähen Soße serviert. Die Kräuter Saitlinge und der Bergkäse waren ausgezeichnet. Halbe Ente 🦆 ist die beste Wahl, wenn es weihnachtlich sein muss. Die Bierauswahl ist mega groß. Der Kaiserschmarrn ist eine Wucht und die lange Wartezeit auf jeden Fall wert.
Der verbrannte Döner hat kein Stern verdient. Das Brot war veraltet, wurde kurz im Backofen warm verbrannt!! Dann kam das geschmacklose Fleisch, das nach Plastik geschmeckt hat, es waren sogar Knorpel im Fleisch. Ich zahle 20€ damit ich Durchfall kriege (8€ Döner). Einfach ekelhaft. Nie wieder!!
Bin immer wieder begeistert von unseren Ehemaligen Treffen dort. Immer wieder ein Erlebnis uns unglaublich gutes Essen und Service. Trotz der schwierigen Zeiten.
Nous étions un groupe de 7. Nous avions réservé à l'avance et dès la réservation, le sérieux de l'établissement s'est fait ressentir. Le service a été attentionné et haut en couleur grâce à la bonne humeur de Chris. Les plats étaient copieux et délicieux. Pour ma part, j'ai trouvé la choucroute un peu trop sucrée mais c'est personnel. Bon ambiance dans une salle tout à fait unique. Je recommande pour passer une bonne soirée pour un prix vraiment raisonnable.

Das Hopfen & Malz hat unsere Hochzeitsfeier in Coburg zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Nach unserer standesamtlichen Trauung verwöhnte uns das Restaurant mit köstlichem Fingerfood und Drinks. Am nächsten Tag übernahmen sie das Catering für unsere Hochzeitsfeier, und das Essen war nicht nur wunderschön präsentiert, sondern auch köstlich. Die Drinks von der velo.bar waren vielfältig und qualitativ hochwertig. Die hervorragende Kommunikation mit Lars und dem Team rundete unser rundum perfektes Erlebnis ab. Wir empfehlen das Hopfen & Malz uneingeschränkt weiter! Vielen Dank für alles!
Absolutely one of the worst dishes ever had. Absolutely disgusting. Unflavored, dry, uncooked, dry, full of fat served with a ball of plastic mash potato. On top of this the waitress asked for tips.

Ne pas aller dans ce restaurant en groupe, sinon l'addition sera fausse, de plus à l'étage le serveur le plus vieux est peu aimable, et refuser de refaire l'addition et dire qui c'est trompé, pourtant nous lui avons noté les numéros des Plats et boissons que l on voulait, le vin il nous a compté un vin plus cher que celui commandé, et la table à côté c est vu compté une bouteille d eau gazeuse en plus, malgré que les cadavres étaient encore sur la table.

哈克市場如同一個美食廣場，因為想食豬手，就隨緣落坐選了這家餐廳，想不到有意外驚喜。豬手皮脆鬆化，肉嫩入味，而香腸併盤也很有水準。
Bad service! The waitress was totally unfriendly. When we came, the restaurant was not full as it wasn‘t weekend nor peak time, and the first thing she asked if we eat or just drink. I saw she served other customers kindly and said „Bitte schön“ and „Guten Appetit“ to them. But to us she didnt want to show her hospitality, it seems because we are asians. I’ve visited Kartofelhaus in different cities and sadly had a bad experience here. Food was nice and huge. Only terrible service.
Gemüseteller zum Mitnehmen für 6 Euro, der Becher war nicht Mal bis zur hälfte gefüllt. Es war kein Fladenbrot dabei, dies kostete nochmal 1 Euro extra....finde ich echt happig!

Un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour manger à deux pas du Berliner Dom dans le quartier du moyen-âge Saint-Nicolas. On peut y goûter de la cuisine traditionnelle allemande à des prix raisonnables. Le cadre est sympathique et le service rapide. Je recommande !
Ich bin mit Hunger am 10.03.2023 ins Restaurant gekommen. Leider wurde uns beim Reichen der Speisekarte nicht mitgeteilt, dass der Pizzaofen defekt sei. Als wir uns schon fast entschieden hatten, kam die Mitteilung von einem anderen Kellner. Nach der Bestellung kamen die Getränke relativ zügig. Die Vorspeise war eine Steinpilzcremesuppe, die mehr als 30 Minuten gedauert hatte, obwohl nur noch ein weiterer Tisch augenscheinlich essen bestellt hatte. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Suppe gleich kommt. Da vergingen noch einmal knappe 10 bis 15 Minuten.
Die Suppe war in Ordnung.
Dann kam das Hauptgericht. Es gab nur noch einmal Ketchup, da am Tag zuvor eine Feier war und sie vergessen hätten das einzukaufen.....Definitiv bessere Organisation in Zukunft.
Als Hauptgericht hatte ich mir Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffeln, Salat und Preiselbeeren bestellt. Es kam ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und es war sehr lieblos angerichtet. Als man die Speisekarte haben wollte, wurde man ignoriert. Erst als man den Chef sprechen wollte, kam dieser auch. PS. (diesen Kellner baten wir um die Speisekarte). Am Ende sind wir hungrig gegangen. Mir war es wirklich unangenehm. So ein Restaurantbesuch hatte ich noch nicht erlebt.
Für die Zukunft: mit den Gästen von Beginn an kommunizieren und auch auf Wünnsche eingehen und nicht einem das Gefühl geben, dass man nur abgearbeitet wird. Der Restaurantbesuch soll ein Erlebnis sein.
Ich hoffe, dass Sie aus den Fehlern und den Rezessionen lernen. Die Lage des Restaurants am Schießstand ist super.

Leider sehr enttäuscht, Rumpsteak bestellt aber leider ein anderes Stück Fleisch bekommen. Zäh und voll mit Fett. Service war auch nicht der beste. Man hat zwar 2 Latte Macchiato aufs Haus bekommen aber wenn man bedenkt das das Rumpsteak 25,90 kostet, naja. Ebenfalls störend für uns, das die Servicekräfte in Kunden Nähe rauchen. Man kam sich immer etwas belauscht vor.
Das Restaurant Meynum ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, da alle Zutaten frisch zubereitet sind und mit liebe angerichtet sind.
Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt zu 100%.
Wer ein Restaurant für ein Date oder eine Familienfeier sucht, ist hier genau an der richtigen Stelle.
Ich komme definitiv wieder vorbei!
Portions are really huge and can easily be for 2 persons. Waiters are kind, welcoming and speak English, French and German. Very good restaurant or just to take a drink and hang out
Wir hatten noch einen Döner - alles hat mega lecker geschmeckt. Es war zurecht gut was los, Freitag zur Mittagszeit. Auf der Durchreise war dies unser erster Besuch. Wir kannten uns nicht wirklich aus: wann bezahlen, wird das Essen gebracht etc - da uns hier die Unsicherheit nicht genommen wurde, ein Stern Abzug. Schade das der Laden soweit weg ist sonst würden wir wegen euch öfters türkisch essen. Die Qualität und Auswahl gibts bei uns leider nicht.
Heute Abend das erste Mal bestellt ( Selbstabholung ).
Pizza Scampi und Pizza Margherita.
Respekt an die Küche,das letzte mal das ich so eine Luftige leckere Pizza in der Qualität essen durfte,war im Italien Urlaub in Neapel.
Die Pizzen sind weder überladen, oder zu klein,im Geschmack kaum zu übertreffen, ausser in Neapel, aber das ist wieder eine andere Geschichte.
Der Belag ist qualitativ nicht mit dem zu vergleichen was wir hier in Deutschland meistens sonst vorgesetzt bekommen.
Frisch luftig und im Steinofen gebacken so muss es auch sein .
Ich habe somit meine Lieblings-Pizza und den besten Pizzabäcker gefunden :)
