The meat was i think from dead animal. Didnt taste like lamb at all and it took about 3 hours to cook. I honestly think this guys should be investigated. Its either really old or dead

I booked in for a bra fitting which was easy to do, and amend, online.
However the appointment itself was a complete waste of time. The lady who took the appointment started off by rather unceremoniously instructing me to go to a cubicle and take my top off (whilst an essential element of a bra fitting her attitude was not at all warm or comforting). Then, when I said I was looking for nursing bras she instantly replied ‘we don’t do nursing bras’ - which is true of this store but not of M&S, and I knew this, but surely she could have advised the range M&S stock and asked whether she could order any in for me?
She did measure my band size, then stood back to eye me up and say ‘I’d guess you were a B or a C?’. The appointment itself lasted less than a minute and I could’ve measured my own band size at home. All in all really poor service and a complete waste of my time.
The 2 stars is for the ease of booking online, not the service actually received.

Customer service improvement required, Was placing my basket at the till , trying to get stuffs out of my basket, and out of the sudden, a seemingly old man just cut the queue with his one box of ice cream without even asking me if it’s possible if I could let him go first and even gave me a side-eyed look, the cashier noticed that I was there already before him but eventually still proceeded with his payment first without stopping him to do so , would appreciate if the staff could have assisted on this situation rather than giving leeway to this sort of person who is rude
I love shopping at this supermarket as it has quite a lot of African items for sale. The items are reasonable priced :)
Piss poor selection of Vodka, there's more of a selection of Rum, Champaign and beers than there is a decent selection of Vodka.
Great shop for finding even quite obscure ingredients as well as the everyday, for making Indian or Chinese food. Prices are OK too. Fresh fish counter is also great.
Makes you feel like shopping in a home shop !!!
They have everything you need to make any Chinese dishes and more.
Overall there are some great finds in the shop and this is one of the few shops that offer a vast variation of Asian products. Prices are not the cheapest but it is what you will find in other places like it. It is quite a crowded shop and difficult to navigate round with aisles being fairly narrow. It isn't one to miss as there are a few really great things to try if you need something that you can't get in a normal supermarket or other shops.
Small but you can get what you need, when you need it.
Get all your Asian and African recipes and ingredients from this shop at affordable prices. Good customer services

I don’t use Aldi very often however, yesterday I did just for convenience. I have never been so humiliated in my life! As I get to the check out the lady behind the till asked to search my shopping bags before I use them!! I have never experienced anything like this in any supermarket I have used, absolutely appalling. Obviously I had nothing to hide but I shouldn’t be made to feel the way I did. I won’t be using this store again

It’s a great place to find all sorts of Asian as well as Africa groceries. They have lots of different things you might not find elsewhere, and the people who work there are helpful and knowledgeable regarding the products. In addition they have a big car park having an entrance beside the store. It's like taking a trip to Asia without leaving town!
Not much varieties for a large Asian supermarket, the prices are reasonable compared to other Asian places but I wish they'd correctly price the labels as I've seen a small can of fish selling for £25 and some don't have prices, which leaves you shocked when at the till! Staff are nice and helpful, apart from this cashier with the glasses & bob. When I ask for a refund she said, what do you want me to do about it, go to the end of the till. Witch needs to learn some manners, it's us customers paying your wages.
I have bland tastes but if you don't and are looking for something different to try give it a go.
Or if you just want to bulk buy your sauces and drinks. Just be aware that they will charge you for accidental breakage of stock. Will be back at some point

Have been shopping here for years when buying bulk items, ingredients and spices for batch cooking. Really good value. Recently though it's also becoming a better alternative to the ever rising cost of food on Just Eat etc. Lots of dumplings, gyozas etc. that can be quickly cooked at home for a fraction of a delivery.
There is some specific smell, I don't know what is it, but it also make very genuine atmosphere of this shop. If You are orientallly oriented it's great place for You. Very wide choice of spices. You can buy there pan for stir frying as well. The best rice in 3kg, 5kg and 10kg bags is there as well.
Don’t fully trust price labels on shelves, only few are right. Upstairs restaurant is nice with good selections but missing some more desserts.

Was stalked by security the whole way round the store. Couldn't help but think that it was because the colour of our skin,being the only black people there

I came in store today to bring a pair of grey jeans back which had a fault in the back ( it looks like a bleach mark, which I didn't notice as it was at the back!). I only purchased them on Christmas Eve and wore them on Christmas Day so they did have a few marks from wearing them. When I took them off I noticed this mark. The lady who served me refused to change them or give me my money back saying it was paint. It is NOT paint! They are faulty I have never felt so humiliated and will not be shopping in this store again. I now have a faulty pair of jeans. I am so upset at the way I was treated sshopping in this store ah
The woman serving didn't how to use a surestart NHS card (top tip its contac less) and also couldn't understand how to split the total between 2 cards, resulting in a que forming and making me feeling stressed out at till. I wanted to split the total of £40 between 2 cards for £20 each but she kept pitting it through for 40 on one card and couldn't figure out the problem altho I explained it to her. Not a good experience in my eyes
I would recommend this place specifically for asian you will get every spices what ever you needed grounded one or in actual form. They have small vegetable section as well. Amazed to know they have methais as well. Prices are fine best thing is that they cover almost everything for asians highly recommended to visit
Today, i visited this store where the manager got suspicious about my family that was with me but all they both were doing was to take clothes for their two kids each and her husband each.Shopping alone for three people is hectic. There were no basket, so she carried that. The manager comes and was like you can tell me when you want to try on the clothes, okay but then when they were leaving the store, they got their bag checked .I mean dude she literally literally just gave you all the clothes she didnt want and youre checking the bagsss????

I would check their receipt twice or more , the brilliant cashier today literally made me pay for the customer stuff before me , and when I accidentally checked the money which is crazy for only eggs, he said it was a mistake, just let me guess what they will say if I went home and saw the receipt and money I paid, I’m not sure how they will refund me afterwards.
I do like shopping in Aldi you get more for your money.but this time I went and they hadn't put any of the fruit out and there wasn't no cheese so kids weren't happy 😔

Well is a cheap supermarket with a lot of frozen foods/chilled,the prices are not expensive enough,some times there is a queue before the payment phase,The place is not provide machines that u can scan ur items and pay and be good to go,so if u have 1-2 items you have to wait in queue,small or big queue,depends the day,by the way sometimes when it is bizzy they put more cashiers but queue is queue!
Aldi’s is our go to store for our weekly stock up. The produce is always fresh and usually in much better condition than even more expensive competitiors (maybe except waitrose and MS). The range of selections is amazing and very cost effective.
Went to buy a suit. Hopeless: zero service and no suits visible. Eventually found out via the ladies section downstairs that M&S only sell mens suits online now. Not sure how I would check the fit online. Got good service at M&S in Manila last month. UK stores are clearly useless for menswear though. Shame - they were ok a few years back.
I visited the Malvern store today, Christmas shopping, the lady who served me was lovely.
However I.couldn't get out of the store fast enough? I.would of probably took longer and had a browse around, the music that was playing was awful, it was crackly it hurt my ears, not a good experience

I was in on Monday 6 th nov , and just got a couple of things , arrived home , minus my Galia melon , I went back today , and the lovely checkout operator, recognised me , and retrieved my melon from customer services ,, on request she told me her name was Marie - thankyou Marie, for fab customer service
Aldis my go to place for weekly shopping. Fruit and veg is always good and they have a great selection of most things. Great parking and always plenty of tills open and staff available to help
Is there a particular reason why I saw the man who does the trolleys for this store murder a man in the car park in broad daylight? How is this allowed in a grocery store?
Having the stock for veggies every week was the good part. But the billing should be more transparent, stating the names of each item rather than putting it as miscellaneous.

Range of fresh and a great selection of frozen foods. My main gripe was there were never enough checkouts, but at last they have installed self checkouts. Brilliant!
They have actually moved across the road to bigger premises and created a mini supermarket which is well stocked, looks great. Been going here for a very long time, know the staff well, always friendly and helpful. Great fresh produce and halal meats, huge selections of spices and herbs.
This used to be one of my favourite stores. I would call in and chat to all the regular staff, and after a while (quite a while and lots of guesses each time) they would sometimes almost get my name right. Tesco's was my little secret, full of everything you needed and lots of bargains on kiwis. Imagine my disappointment then when, perhaps carelessly, I confided to a friend about Tesco's on Lisburn Road in the hope that maybe we could one day share the experience and maybe even loiter in the bakery aisle together in the hope of one day glimpsing Tesco himself/herself only to learn that they too already knew of tesco's- but a different one. And more- that there were many all over the country, visited by all kinds and sundry, each blissfully unaware that theirs was not only one but merely a store in a ginormous impersonal 'chain'. I never feel the same way about my own little 'local' store now. Nor about Sandra. I sometimes even walk out to the very largest Tesco's at Newtonbreda just to spite them, which in comparison by the way, is much cleaner, well stocked and well, open. I once got an official Buzz Lightyear speaking toy at that Tesco's for 19.99. I'm not sure Tesco himself/herself is real. Strange times.
