I am currently having a delightful breakfast .The ambiance here is quite pleasing, and the food and décor are both very agreeable. A well-lit and cheerful place for a casual brunch or coffee with a view of some greenery.
The brunch menu offers reliable options such as eggs benedict and all-day breakfasts. The coffee was also satisfactory.

Mee hailam and rojak sotong are good. Wanted to try the nasi padang but it was closed today. Very old school shop, so don't expect modern furniture or equipments. A part of its charm is the old feel of the cafe. Will go back to try the nasi padang.
Just come by for the design & deco. Eat simple dessert. Upper level is hostel. Mixed & match deco industrial + fusion.. Like the austetik look.

Bad food handling and protocol. There are long queue of cups on top of the machine, one of the baristas keep moving the cups in the queue by touching mouth of cups during my whole waiting time, is so disgusting.
Be prepare for long waiting time either peak or off peak even you don't see crowd at the shop, because they received huge amount of online order.

The Padang food, quite tasty & flavourful. Sadly, the drinks are below average. Maybe coming back for Koay Teow Goreng.

Went there on Saturday around 11am. The cafe still have empty seats. Had some light breakfast. Fries, burnt cheese cake, hot choc & eng breakfast. Everything is good especially the hot choc and the burnt cheese cake. Will come back to try other food in the menu.
Cafe is so cute and cozy for breakfast/brunch! Staff are super super nice and helpful! They gave us a list of recommended places in KL to visit after dining which i thought was so nice and a very thoughtful gesture! :) The chili on the mushroom omelette was DELICIOUS!!! Coconut latte & Matcha latte - Heavenly!

Food is good and the service is superb! Kudos to the friendly staffs that will great you from the moment you enter and always so attentive when you need anything. Specially Christian and Ken who are so proactive and ask how’s everything and always there to attend to needs. I will definitely come back. I had breakfast here alone but I felt surrounded by friends due to these lovely and amazing staff💕
I arrived 0.5 hour earlier than then restaurant operating hour. I went in because I saw there were people actively walking inside, but I was chased out by an unfriendly middle east lady.
I went back again in the late afternoon. Self-ordering at the counter. Food was tasted ok but small portion especially for the rice. Drink was overpriced (the flavored soda water cost RM15). Total bill cost me RM46 for one drink and a meal.

A visit to this place is definitely worth it. The simple yet charming interior and delightful breakfast options will make you fall in love with it. It’s perfect for tourists seeking a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. However, one downside is that they do not offer lactose-free milk, which can be an issue for those who are lactose intolerant. I hope they consider adding this option to cater to more guests.

I usually come here for fast coffee almost every day, but for a few weeks now, they have been significantly slower. This morning, with visibly long queue of cups on the counter, the staff are still chatting and doing stuff other than preparing the coffee. Coffee is so so, and now service is slow too.
I ordered while i was on the train, and i still have to wait 20 mins for my order. That competitive advantage of better service is now gone.

Do the Insta-worthy food served here taste as good as they look? Happy to say it is a resounding yes!
I will start with the best: Granny's French Affair. Honestly, I run out of superlatives for this dessert. The big scoop of ice cream, beautifully toasted brioche, tart apple slices and berry coulis combine to make a perfect marriage of tastes and textures. (Only improvement would be the use of imported strawberries - but I am nitpicking)
Croque Madame was a close second. The various herbs, chicken bacon, bechamel sauce worked well on the toasted bread. There was a bit more contrast in tastes from the various ingredients (refer to the last dish). Got to admit it was a nice break from brioche which can become too squishy.
Uncle Foo came with a whole soft shelled crab that was fried to perfection and wonderfully fried chips. Sinful bliss indeed.
Gotti's Black Gold was the weakest. It was a bit of a gooey mess once the poached eggs (in fairness, some of the best I have had texturewise) have been broken. There was no distinct layering of tastes after that.
Service was friendly and fast despite the cafe being 2/3 full.

Makanan sini sedap, cepat staff friendly. Makan untuk 7 org tersangat berbaloi. Nasi lemak menggunakan beras basmathi. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED makan disini. Wajib repeat next time dtg Ipoh.
The environment is warm and inviting.However, I found the food to be overly salty. I hope the kitchen can improve on the quality and balance the flavors better. I believe with a few adjustments, this restaurant can offer an even better dining experience.
Nothing beats a good cake. Absolutely loved the Victoria cake. Carrot cake was a tad too rich with too much cream cheese while the banana coconut cake was overly sweetened with caramel. Must try their signature chocolate cake when available and their orange cake too. Next round 🤩
Food is so good here. Recommend their French toast & Fried chicken waffle! Their big breakfast is really BIG. Staffs are so friendly. They serve free drinking water as well. Encourage to make reservation as it is always full house during brunch/ lunch time.

Food standard here is comparable to food court standard, which I totally dislike. And the seafood is all frozen with fishy smell.

Nice environment, very cozy but the food wasn't taste much. I ordered paprik with white rice, I almost waited for 30 minutes. The food was awful, I didn't taste anything. Just kicap. The vegetables all very raw. They really need to improve in this. Kinda disappointed.

Was in a rush and told the waiter that I had to leave in 30 mins, and they served the food within 5 minutes after I ordered 🥹 Food tasted really good and portion was generous! I couldn’t finish the food and asked for takeaway, it came back with a cute message on the bag! Would definitely come back again 😊

Long time Bangsar favourite and there can be queues. Attention to detail is known, with things like different types of sauces for the dish (eg grilled cheese sandwich has mustard and chutney). Many types of special cakes to choose from if you are there for a lazy weekend with friends. Definitely worth a regular visit and Bangsar folks know this.

Had our dinner at Kleptokrat and tried few of their famous signature dishes 😋... plain water is free on site, but quite pricey. Worth to try their nasi dagang , buttermilk chicken chop rice bowl, salted Egg chicken chop and 🎂 cake...mango mousse.
The place is an instgrammable place and very beautiful surroundings to take pictures...

Their drinks are nice, albeit a bit diluted. It was a shame some of their stocks were sold out (Russian honey cake), but their honey in stock made up for it. Each flavor tastes so unique!!
Andy was very helpful in helping me taste each honey and to educate on the history of each flavor, to where he even shared his own honey routine.
By the time I finally made up my mind, he was very swift to help me with my purchase. He even knew how much I liked the jungle heart, and offered it on the house.

I grabbed a mocha chip here on Friday, 12/4/24. The taste is great but not sure if it was my luck that day but my drink has bits of foil/papers(?). It was a really unpleasant experience and I'm glad a child wasn't drinking it cos they would've choked 🥹

An Indonesian coffee brand making its wave and presence in Malaysia - offering a unique coffee experience yet at affordable prices. Despite its smaller premise in Suria KLCC, the seatings are ample enough for dine-in patrons for at least 20 minutes.
Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food at this shop not only looked like a work of art but tasted even better than it looked in the pictures. We savored dishes like Bonnie & Clyde, Quackbonara, The Mughal Legend, and Jesse James from their menu, and each one exceeded our expectations. My personal favorite was Bonnie & Clyde. Can't wait to return for more culinary delights!
Had a gathering with our cousins. 13 of us...we sat in the inner area (private section). Everything was good. The food and the service. But there were tiny cockroaches running around at the chair with back rest. So that was a turn off. Hence I'm giving 2 stars for the atmosphere. Maybe can improve on the hygiene. Took a video of one of it...the rest were scattered around.

My girlfriend and I were craving a fancy brunch last week, so we decided to check out Breakfast Thieves Bangsar. We weren't disappointed! Here's a quick rundown of what we tried:
Gotti's Black Gold: This dish sounds fancy, and let me tell you, it lives up to the name. The black truffle creme on the brioche toast was insanely rich and flavorful. The sauteed mushrooms added a nice earthy touch, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Be warned, this is definitely a splurge, but it's worth it if you're looking for something decadent.
Terry Benedict: My girlfriend opted for the Terry Benedict, and it was no surprise she went for the beef option! The Aussie black pepper beef brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and delicious. The portion size was perfect, and she loved that it came on an English muffin.
Granny's French Affair: We couldn't resist sharing a sweet treat, and Granny's French Affair stole the show. The thick-cut brioche french toast was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The apple crumble added a lovely bit of texture and sweetness, and the berry coulis was tart and refreshing. The ice cream on top was the perfect finishing touch.

If i could, the satay should have 0 or negative star. Look at how burnt they are, and the chicken meat is so tough and stuck to the skewer like they have been there for a week. Not gonna eat these carcinogen. Total waste of money and health
It is one of the best food joints in KL, in my humble opinion. Service is top class, which matches the food and ambience. The menu is not overwhelming, which is a good change. Portions are pretty big as well. We have been twice, and they are family-friendly

Love the food, i tried the Terry Benedict's the Aussie beef brisket soaked in brown black pepper sauce is the mouthwatering. It's a big portion for a small eater like me. But i managed to finish it eventually. Love love the service there for giving free smoothies to us. Will definitely come again to try the others!

A very popular restaurant offering a good and varied selection of food. Vegetarian options available. We met up with friends for brunch. Food was tasty and well presented. Service was friendly and courteous. Atmosphere is as expected for a mall restaurant. Acceptable pricing.
I wish i knew about this cafe when i was still studying in uni. This cafe has a very calm atmosphere for every solo ranger out there. The food is good. The presentation is so pretty! Support this cafe! 💓 totally recommended.

The food is excellent and it shall be one of my favourite location for breakfast in KL. We have 4 person dining in for brunch, from the food to the drinks, all of it is perfect.
We ordered their big breakfast, the beef patty burger, cheesy ham sandwich with sunny side up, brioche with truffle with poached egg. The portion for the food is huge, tasty, and the serving is swift. My beef patty burger is cooked to perfect balance of taste and portion of each ingredient. The burger is perfect to use knife and fork for cutting, my first time not turning beef burger into big breakfast using knife and fork. The sweet potato and potato fries is crispy and the saltiness is well balance.
The only downside would be the parking and, the menu name is overly complicated to remember. None of the names I listed here is the name used in the menu, would recommend the owner to put pictures in their menu or perhaps QR code for ordering. The valllet parking is RM15 if anyone don't mind for the parking cost.
I will definitely visit again.

Had an excellent meal here at Urban Daybreak, with delicious food and 110% service! This was our second visit here, and both the food and experience have been a huge upgrade over the first.
We had the Guinness pulled pork, baked eggs and toast, overnight oats, and two coffees to pair. Everything we ordered was great, but the baked eggs and pulled pork were standouts. The iced americano was a bit too acidic, however the aero coffee was perfect.
Overall a near-perfect experience, highly recommended!

We ordered the Hearty Avocado alongside the Royal Black Coffee. The avocado toast had a unique and enjoyable taste, with the egg which had been marinated in soy and honey. Unfortunately, the coffee fell flat for me as the honey seemed to have neutralised the coffee flavour. We were told that this could have been due to them using lower quality coffee beans. We had also tried the classic Russian honey cake, which was just sweet enough and very flavourful. We were served by Andy, a very kind and informative server - he chatted with us kindly and shared a lot about their products and company. I recommend coming here to enjoy the nice environment and to try some unique tastes.
The shop isn't as big as I imagine. Service was good and I really enjoyed their fried chicken waffle. The fried chicken alone is nice. Waffle on its own is nice too although it looked very basic. Together with their sauce was good stuff!

Memang macam dulu-dulu. Menu setakat yang saya order memang sedap dan memuaskan. Sesiapa yang dari KL ke Utara boleh singgah sarapan sini. Exit Tol Ipoh, tidak jauh dari laluan Highway..
First time here. I had the signature sauce salad and cappuccino, I like the salad, and the cappuccino is good (I didn’t add the honey, not an adventurer …yet). My hubby had bruschetta and apple cinnamon honey.

This is quite a famous spot for breakfast, lunch and tea ha ha. I find a long queue here each time I pass by and it's been like this for years. Managed to pop by a few times for food and it wasn't bad at all. However, the most attractive aspect of this place is definitely the pool. The restaurant is located on the ground level and diners can enjoy their meal right by the poolside. This explains the queue ha ha. The upstairs rooms are for hotel guests as the portion upstairs are converted into a backpacker's Inn.Like I mentioned before, finding parking here can be a challenge. Previously, people tend to park right outside the restaurant but the city council have since prohibited this. Still, this did not deter people from coming here at all. I wonder if it's time to make a return visit to check out the other items on their menu.
nasi padang was the best in KL, it can even beat the one in Kg Baru easily, wide selection of lauk and the kuah was the highlight of the dish, ayam rendang was flavorful and ayam berlado was juicy. price was affordable compare to other nasi padang in KL. however, drinks side on the kopitiam was a bit disappointing, had to call the auntie few times only to order drinks, kopi was normal kopi susu, nothing special and service from staff is below average. place is not cosy but nasi padang is great
The cosy rustic feel of this cafe tucked inside a shopping mall is just everything 🤩. Love this place so much! The offer amazing food, drinks and dessert! The staffs were friendly and very attentive too.
An authentic coffeeshop where the locals (mainly Malays) eat. The fried rice, sotong rojak and mee rebus were quite delicious. Satay is available from late afternoon. Friendly service.
Honey Cafe is pretty unique, not many cafe with honey as theme. Their coffee and food are mostly cooked with honey. Some of the good food we tried is the sour dough with honey butter, very fragrant with garlic taste. The honey chicken was good too, sweet honey on the outer layer. Coffee with honey was pretty unique too, the honey for coffee itself is a bit bitter but it was good when mix with black coffee, somehow dilute the bitter coffee taste.
So happy to be back here to my favourite cafe in kl for breakfast and brunch. The service team is welcoming and attentive. This time we tried their new menu !

For drinks we ordered their coffee iced long black and iced mocha. They also suggested us to try the long black with their single origin beans from Ethiopia. We love the fruitiness and acidity !

We love the vibes and the ambiance. It get really packed and crowded during lunch but it will be no problem for you if you gonna take away the food. The seating arrangement it quite limited. They offered rojak, mee rebus, nasi Padang, fried beehoon and Chinese fried rice. The service is superb and really fast. The foods are delicious too! Highly recommended!
