‘Working Palace’ of the Dutch King & Queen. Great visit with an audio tour for adults and kids. Buy tickets in advance!
Schön, aber nur von außen besucht.
Amazing castle in a very good condition. You definitely should go upstairs which is not easy and the spiral stairs are very narrow, but there are many things to look at there. There is a beautiful garden nearby as well, don't miss it.
Beautiful site with castle and gardens in a fantastic position between the river and canal and Zuiderzee. Very old medieval castle well restored and preserved, with furnished rooms and accessible towers. Very well done the audio guide. I suggest to bring your own picnic to enjoy in the surrounding gardens,not a lot of options available in the site. Perfect for the whole family.

An interesting castle in excellent condition. There is an audio guide available even in Russian. Several games for children inside the castle and a magnificent playground outside. Unexpectedly excellent coffee in the castle café. A lovely but rather small garden.

Verdwaald verdikkie , komen op een donker pad wat privé bleek .Een meneer wilde ons de weg wijzen . Bleek de eigenaar van het pad waar ook een kasteel bijhoorde , we mochten even kijken , een mooie beleving . Dank hiervoor!!

Nur von aussen zu besichtigen, aber dennoch ein wunderschönes altes Gebäude mit langer Geschichte.
Would have loved to see the museum. When we arrived early in the afternoon it was closed. When the museum indicated it would be open until 5 pm. Apparently they had an event. The staff wasn’t friendly at all, and when we wanted to use the bathroom. They were acting snarky and rude ( even though we had purchased tickets)

Het Kasteel was leuk, maar de sfeer en enthousiasme van de organisatie was fantastisch op de open kastelendag. Het is een klein kasteel, maar hoe je meegenomen wordt in het verhaal van het kasteel vonden wij echt heel leuk en precies goed. Veel georganiseerd, zodat het evenement groots en zeer leuk werd. Het was wel druk, maar blijkbaar was iedereen in een goede stemming, gezien iedere bezoeker wel met een glimlach rondliep. Alles zeer goed geregeld! Gaan we vast en zeker terugkomen!!
Stunning museum with a lovely walk through and self guided tour. Tons of information of the history of the family and gorgeous grounds. It was breeding season so we couldn't walk the full grounds, but I look forward to returning when they're open. I believe a lot of the castle was closed for repairs when we went but there was still so much to see, and the jams they make to sell are fantastic. I look forward to returning to see more! The tour audio came in multiple languages too and I believe was read by the last remaining member of the family.

Best castle experience in Europe so far. Free audio tour, 2 separate guided routes through the interior of the castle and battlements, sitting area with quaint cafe in the courtyard, and lots of interactive areas including armour, displays and information. Kids were engaged the whole time. Highly recommend as a day trip from Amsterdam, and to grab lunch or dinner in Muiden or Weesp.
Geen echt groot kasteel maar heel leuk om er geweest te zijn was veel georganiseerd en zeker voor kinderen die zeker genoten hebben. Kasteel Dussen de moeite waard!
Wij hebben op deze bijzondere locatie onze prachtige winterbruiloft kunnen vieren. Tijdens de voorbereidingen was alles bespreekbaar en ook op de dag zelf werd er door het personeel goed meegedacht om alles op rolletjes te laten lopen. De sfeer van het kasteel is zo mooi dat je eigenlijk geen extra decoratie nodig hebt en er zijn genoeg mooie plekken voor de fotoshoot. Het sneeuwkanon bij de ontvangst van onze gasten maakte het winterse gevoel helemaal af!

In de zomer kun je op het grasveld voor het kasteel trouwen of op de binnenplaats. Bij slecht weer is er een mooie ceremonie ruimte binnen. Ideaal als je alles op één locatie wilt houden!

Een prachtig romantisch water casteel. Ein wunderschönes romantisches Wasserschloss.
Ein tolles kleines Schlösschen. Als wir dort waren, wurde gerade eine Hochzeit gefeiert. Das war sehr romantisch.
Eins der schönsten Schlösser, die ich in letzter Zeit besucht habe.

Auf den Spuren meiner Ahnen (van Zuylen ) es war herrlich dort auch für Kinder.
Ein sehr schöner gepflegter Garten ( Park), dto. das Wasserschloss, auch ein Besuch der Räume mit Originalmobiliar ist lohnenswert. Die Umgebung lädt zum Spazieren ein.
Die Anlage öffnet um 11:00 Uhr, der Parkplatz ist gebührenpflichtig (Eine Münze zur Ausfahrt ist im Shop erhältlich). Das angeschlossene Cafe ist einladend. Insgesamt ein toller Ausflug.

One marvels the architecture and grandeur of the buildings! Since Binnenhof is the seat of the parliament of the country it goes without saying that the entire area is meticulously maintained. This review includes some other beautiful historic buildings in the area. A must-visit when you are in the Hague....and it's only a short distance from Den Haag Centraal
Schöner Park aber das Schloß war wegen Corona geschlossen
Ich war nicht drin aber man kann halt nur ein Foto von ihn machen und die Öffnungszeiten war sogar angestrengt 🙄
Ein wunderschönes Schloss, leider war die Führung nur auf niederländisch und ein wenig englisch. Es gibt aber deutschen Lesestoff mir dem Text der Führung. Es war sehr schön.
