Cool bridge, great sunset spot.

This is a bridge. It's fine. It conveys you from one side of a creek to the other nearly 100% of the time.

Indeed this crossing to East River esplanade may be hard to find, since entrance is quite unassuming and you have to know to look for it to find stairs. The walk is essentially 2 blocks from 51st to 53rd and it is dead-end one. Not sure if there is rational explanation why new E 53rd new construction walk leading to E 70th is not connected to the older esplanade (maybe to let more privacy to Beekman Hill residents). Still it was a nice walk in and out.
