Such an interesting place to visit in Kuwait. I met the Artist as a host and listened to the story of the house, the arts, and the life of the artist. It contains more than mirrors, it's a story, a journey, a history, a spirit and aspirations of an artist couple.
Before visiting I have to make a booking via the web, because they only accept a certain number of visitors per 1 time visit.
The Lady of the house is already old but has an amazing spirit and energy. We did some art therapy sessions and lots of reflection moments while gazing at every art piece. This place takes you beyond yourself. It's super interesting and fun. If you love art, I highly recommend you to visit this place!

Ziyaret etmeden önce bu kadar etkileneceğimizi bilmiyordum. Rezervasyonla ziyarete gidebiliyorsunuz.2 saatlik turu bizim isteğimizle 1 saate kısalttılar. Lidia ve kızı çok sıcakkanlıydı. Emek emek yaptığı çalışmaları ve hikayelerini bize anlattı. Atıştırmalık ikramları ve hediyeleri çok nazikçeydi. Kuveyte gelip burayı es geçmediğimize sevindim.
Unusual and unique experience. It's not a regular museum. It's an actual house which was covered with mirror mosaics over 50 years. It feels like you've visited the home of an artist’s family and learned about their history and Kuwait from their perspective. The tour takes 2 hours, and you should book it in advance
It's a very unique destination when in Kuwait, a remarkable place with a passionate artist/family
Every story behind each piece of glass is beyond amazing
Madam Lidia Alkatan and her lovely daughter will tell you an amazing tale about their lifework and you will go through a mixture of art and Kuwait history

Today I visited Mirror House😍
I can’t convey the emotions, it’s just something incredible, very interesting.
The tour give by the owner of this house Lidia🤍 and her daugther🤍helps to organaze a tour.
Lidia made all the mirrors in the house herself. There are a lot of history about Why she made this...Why did she decide to do it all over again?...
One of my favourite place in Kuwait.

Das ist einer der ungewöhnlichsten Orte. Man muss einen Termin ausmachen, wird dafür mit einer Gestfreundschaft überrascht, die man nicht erwartet. Es ist mehr als ein Museum, es ist ein Lebenswerk. Unbedingt besuchen!!!
