Excellent place to visit while in Cusco. We got to see Condors, Pumas, Monkeys and lots of other animals. Very interactive and our guide was amazing!
Not recommended at all! Is a circuit that literally takes 5 min to do it. (Tickets are 25 Soles )per adult, and taxi from Cuzco is around (40 soles). you can not touch the animals and there are not a lot of Variety of them!!! DO NOT COME. No recomendado, super caro, nada que hacer, sucio, descuidado, el recorrido toma 5 min de lo pequeño que es!!!
Well it’s nice for the animals that are been rescued but it took us 40 mins by taxi from Cusco and the “private tour” we had lasted 15mins it seem very rushed.
Absolutely loved this animal sanctuary! All the animals are well taken care of, and have lots of space of roam around. Many animals are able to roam the premises freely. You’re able to get very close to interact with the animals, which is great. Our guide was a very friendly and informative young man, and the woman working in the cafe/snack shop is a sweetheart! Thank you for taking such great care of these beautiful animals! We had such a great experience interacting with them, hearing their stories and learning about them. Definitely check this place out!
It’s a simple place where you can see various animals, including llamas and wild cats, but don’t expect a huge zoo. The highlight is undoubtedly the condors. This is likely one of the few places where you can admire these majestic birds without trekking into the Andes. The sanctuary even hosts a special presentation where the condors display their impressive wingspan in flight. Not only is it a memorable visit, but by going, you also support their important conservation efforts. In my opinion, it’s worth a visit.
I really enjoy the sanctuary and how close we can get to the animals. The guide also shared interesting stories and fun facts about the animals with us.
A great experience. It was truly breathtaking to see the Andean condors fly up close. I went with my wife and 18 month old. They both had a blast. The only main thing I would note is that it is not fully stroller accessible. I would have left the stroller in the car.
