We went on a Tuesday night, which is slow for most restaurants in HK, but we loved it.
The food was amazing, the flavours were 🙌 - worked well even for me (I have a very sensitive palate). There isn't a dish that we liked more than another because we loved everything! As soon as the amuse bouche hit our bouches we knew we were in for a treat. And we really were.
A lot of thought has been put into everything at Whey. From the music (millennial kid's dream come true, think LCD Soundsystem, early Daft Punk, College, Toro Y Moi, etc...) to the atmosphere & finally to the bathroom - Unscented Co. soap, so you can focus on the food and not your floral (or Aesop) scented hands & ladies there are some goodies in the bathroom in case of an emergency 👀
Service - the service was amazing! Fine dining restaurants are often stuffy and the front of house team isn't always super warm and welcoming. This was the opposite. Everyone at Whey were kind, thoughtful and funny. Many jokes were made, a lot of laughs were had and we didn't want to leave.
Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!

I had an incredible dining experience at Whey. The food was outstanding, and the service was considerate. The dishes, particularly the appetizers and desserts, were beautifully presented and strongly influenced by Singaporean cuisine. This was especially noticeable in the brioche with buah keluak emulsion butter and laksa broth.
For a birthday celebration, I visited with a group of 5. The restaurant kindly provided us with a private dining area. Each dish we tried had unique and well-balanced flavors. If you're looking for a fusion fine dining experience with a strong Asian influence, Whey is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!

很natural原汁原味原材料。
但係每一件都係幾樣嘢嘅combination😲
每個combination配搭得好好！
佢地配搭嘅心思一定係攞星🌟嘅其中一個原因！
因為有新加坡🇸🇬元素
所以有很多惹味嘅味道：
laksa，lemongrass，斑斕
連我個花生雪糕裡面都有少少辣椒🌶️
惹味但係又唔會搶走食材嘅鮮味🥰
luxury版嘅🐔雞飯好出色🤩
三黃雞胸，脆皮肉嫩～
雞捲係雞腿肉，很滑，雞味濃
飯有脆米！雞汁香濃～
甜品都好精彩💕
爸媽對個榴蓮雪糕讚口不絕
最後兩件糕點都係好精彩
呢餐由頭好食到尾👍🏻
建議要加錢嘅嘢全部都加！
🤣雖然龍蝦🦞加八百幾蚊
但係全部add on都沒有後悔
唯一可以skip嘅係
飲品😝當然唔難飲
不過無特別
