The selection of women’s clothing in this store cannot be compared to the selection in similar department stores in the US, here, it is vastly better, more interesting, nicer! I don’t even like shopping and I can spend days at this store
Every inch of this store exudes luxury! It's the best and ultimate department store in the country for upper-middle and luxury goods. However a lot of the merchandise are actually quite affordable if you look closely. One can spend a big part of the day here and for refreshments the restaurant on the top floor will quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger.
The Dutch Harrods. Beautiful store with many top name concessions on every floor. The variety of clothing and homeware is second to none in the center of Amsterdam. The staff are polite and helpful. Just remember to save up be fore you go spending your hard earned in here. It ain't cheap.
We ordered pasion fruit cake and apple cake. They were so delicious, Not too sweet and yet sweetness at it's best. For drink, we ordered fresh mint tea . It was hot, and yet very refreshing and minty soothing which complimented the cakes. Highly recommended. The two ladies were very nice and friendly. Highly recommended after a stroll along Red Light District.
