You can go to the partition museum or to Jallianwala bagh or golden temple from there. You can also go shopping on the streets.A historical place, we feel proud to come to this place, the Golden Temple is also nearby. If you ever get a chance to come here in your life, definitely come and enjoy yourself.The statue is located near Heritage Street and is within walking distance of both the Jallianwala Bagh and the Golden Temple, which must be visited. He is also referred to as Lion of Punjab. He was born in Gujranwala and died in Lahore which are now located in Pakistan. In the year 1801 he proclaimed himself as the King of Punjab and later in the year 1802 captured the holy land of Amritsar.
By 1820 he had consolidated his rule over the whole of Punjab between the Sutlej and the Indus rivers. The Sikh state he created had Sikhs, Muslims and Hindus in both the army and the cabinet & it collapsed soon after his death.
