We stopped for a short trail walk on a Sunday late afternoon early May. This section was about 1.8 miles out and back however you can keep going the whole way to LeTort park. Not sure on that total distance. I’m thinking at least a 10k round trip but that’s just a guess.
We parked here. There is another small lot at the other end. When I say small lot, I mean, roadside stone so don’t expect painted lines or anything like that. It’s a trailhead. It was a nice walk and it seemed pretty safe. There were some donkeys on a neighboring farm. From what I understand, one is named Jack, however none of the three wanted to be bothered. They were busy eating grass. The trail isn’t super-wide but there is plenty of room for a bike and a person to be passing each other.
