Wasn't as big as we were expecting, but it's lovely. Great views, easy parking and its free.

An amazing structure, in heavy decline.

Yes, the view over the Aegean Sea is gorgeous and awe inspiring from the top of the castle. But it also breaks my history-loving heart that a place such as this can be in such a star of decay.

Sure, there is enough room to park your car and the climb up the castle (here and there a few broken steps) is not bad. But when you step inside the castle you can really see the decline over the years. Such a shame in my opinion.

Add to the fact that there is no explanation about the historical significance, or the position the castle had during Middle Ages.

All in all, a great view and a spot you have to visit during your trip. But don’t expect a ‘wow’ factor from the site itself, more from the view.

Very impressive old castle. Access is up a lot of stone steps which is easy for some, and no entry charge to see the remains of the castle.

5 stars for the view - actually I would say Infinite stars for the view... - if you are looking for that perfect spot from where you can see the beauty of the closest islands or just embrace the color of the Aegean Sea then this is your place - you need to be in good condition in order to adventure yourself inside the castle and I would recommend not to have small children running around by themselves as accidents might happen. Other than that - take a sit on the rocks - put your phone down - and just enjoy!

Beautiful old castle and amazing view, definitely recommend if you have the time to visit!

Really cool historical site! Worth paying a visit if passing by. The walk up to the castle takes 3 minutes. Beautiful views from the top. There was no entrance fee when we visited in the month of May 2023.
