Very hot inside this "premium" grocery store. They use humidity fans to ostensibly cool the store. This of course just makes the store hotter and more humid since it's in a closed system. They have a cheap brand they like to promote because it has super high margins but i checked many of the food origin labels and most of the food is from china. They have 14 upright coolers side by side merchandising ice cream. These coolers belong in a small 7 eleven not a grocery store. This type of cooler adds to the heat in the store and they look garish. They bought this cheap equipment to save money. What is the chance these 14 coolers are going to get regular maintenance? Zero. The shelving is cheap and the store layout is blah. This is actually a low end grocery store by any standard. But what about the prices? Sky high.

I just saw a foreigner complain and wanted his purchased meat returned as cash.

Policy in this country is just replacement but never cash refund. And because he kept insisting to get cash, the management gave in .. easily.

That is just bad! 👎

Management let themselves be manipulated. Locals cant even do this but they let foreigners do?
