I visited the Pelotonia Research Center at 2255 Kenny Rd., on The Ohio State University [OSU] "West Campus," for my first time on 11-15-2023.

Access to the Pelotonia Research Center is from Innovation Way [a street that runs north from Carmack Rd. west of Kenny Rd.] rather than from Kenny Rd. itself.

On 11-15-2023, the Columbus Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, in conjunction with the OSU Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, hosted a presentation about current research on Inherited Retinal Diseases [genetic eye conditions that can lead to decreased vision over time].

The Pelotonia Research Center does not have an auditorium; however, a section of their first-floor lobby can temporarily be set up for presentations similar to the Foundation Fighting Blindness event that I had attended in that building.

Following the presentation, groups of us took tours of the soon-to-be-opened Pelotonia Research Lab [on the upper floors of that building] that is in the process of beginning its work.
