I didn’t expect the market would be so neat and clean hehe . Accidently found mochi because this Uncle has so many que and I decided to try his food, OMG IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Only cost me 6rm!! It was sweet, chewy and crunchy all in one. I wish I bought 2 packs 😭
And in front of him there was also this uncle who sell soya bean with cincao, loveeeee it!!

Please try their food because they were good and the Uncles were so kind and friendlyyyy!!!!

Petaling street one of main tourist spot in KL also known as Chinatown here. Variety of food and goods can be found over here. Lot of stall selling imitate luxury brand from jewellery, shoes, bags, clothes which you can bargain with the seller depends on your skill. Plenty of food which some have history could found over here as well. Came on weekday night and there’s crowd but not too bad, still can stroll comfortably.

Bustling street with many tourist, crowded and packed even on a weekday. Many local food in the alleys, prices are reasonable. For shopping wise, many shops sell similar things, not really alot of different stuffs to shop around.

Fantastic shopping destination with deals on everything from jewelry to clothing to luggage and toys, plus lots of places to eat. I got a nice carry on suitcase for 110 RM (about $23).

Great shopping place as always. Have to bargain though to get reasonable pricing. Beware of inside of Chinatown parking lots: you park for more than an hour - they charge for the whole day. Recent experience was 20 plus RM for 2 hours.

Nice market to buy , ladies bags , purse , artificial jewellery, accessories. Shoes, luggage, slippers, t-shirts, trouser, shoes etc. bargain and buy . Many types of snacks, food, fruit, shakes, icecream available. Most of the food available is non veg. Veg people find it very difficult to find vegetarian food here except fruits. But we suggest must try food here , very different and tasty

Went there on 2 May 2024 and not even the rain could stop the people from entering.
Haggling is a habit here and even when you say no, the vendors try to give it to you at your price.
I'd advise you to know what you want and at the price you want it for. They'll tell you a story about opening price and then ask you how much you're willing to spend. Haggle it down until you feel comfortable. Even if they tell you that your price is too low because they need to make a profit. I went to 2 vendors where I was just looking and said, I'll come back but they thought I was lying and gave the item to me at the price I wanted it for. I wasn't forcing them to take it at that price they opted to sound desperate in the end - almost as if they need to make a sale.
I mean if you're able to haggle a laptop bag from 450 down to 120, how can you blame the customer? The vendor has a choice to accept the offer or not.
The juice vendors don't do haggling, they have a set price (I think).
Walking through here can be frustrating as it's narrow spaces and lots of people in front, at the back and next to you. So keep your valuables close to you in either a fanny pack/moonbag or backpack.
