Please dont visit this restaurant unless you want to be cheated. The restaurant is still charging 15% SST on credit/debit card payments despite it has been reduced to 8%. Despite discussing the matter with the management there, they still charged 15%. I would never go to a place that cheats the customers. Since this matter came up after I had consumed the meals therefore I paid it in curtesy only.

Please check before you order or process if you are fine paying extra undue tax on your bill.

I will never visit this place again.

Firstly, if we talk about the service, there were no proper parking arrangements. People have to find their own random parking in the street which is pretty much uncomfortable. Also, the butler/waiter service was just satisfying and the security service was just okay. Secondly, talking about the food, it's quality and taste was horrible. Some of it was even raw or stale. Thirdly, even though there were not many people over there, the environment was a bit congested since the size of the restaurant was small. However the interior was clean and well-decorated.

After reading a lot of reviews on various food groups we decided to visit Yuan Tung.
It's an old school chinese restaurant. From the uniformed waiters in white to the red checkered table tops, everything was reminiscent of the chinese restaurants of the 80s and 90s.
The food was good. They only have family sized servings. Their portion sizes are adequate for 2-3 persons. Loved the over all vibe of the place.

The food at Yuang Tung is consistently delicious, and we've been enjoying it for years. My all-time favorites include the hot and sour soup, chicken Manchurian, Szechuan fish, and BBQ squid. It's definitely worth a visit.

It was the craving of chowmein that took us to this place. Upon entering the place, the cool and calm vibe of the place took over us. We knew we were in for a whole experience and not just for food.

We sat on the table right beside the glass wall facing outside. It took me back to 90s when I was a kid. The dark and light tones of red colored carpet, table mats and brick-shaped wall ceiling, the old window air conditioners and dim lamps gave us the typical original Chinese eatery feel.

We ordered chowmein and hands down, it was the best I've had up til now. Generous quantity of veggies and chicken and a very delightful balance of spices made it taste so good. Even the condiments like chilly oil were mouth watering.

The staff they have is also very attentive and professional in conduct, and the overall place was also well maintained with regard to hygiene and cleanliness. They have their POS integrated with FBR so appreciation for that too.

I'd highly recommend this place to someone looking for a genuine Chinese food experience. I'd keep visiting to try other dishes as well.

I ordered their special soup, noodles, BBQ squid, and beef. The squid was outstanding, the soup had a unique taste compared to usual ones, but the beef lacked flavor entirely. The ambiance transported me back to the sets of old PTV dramas from the 90s. It felt like I was part of a scene from that era. Overall, the staff was attentive, and the experience was good.

Delicious food. We have been going to Yuang Tung since years and their food tastes just the same.👍👍
My personal all time favourites are their hot & sour soup, chicken manchurian, schezuan fish and bbq squid. Definitely worth a visit.
