CLAMP COFFEE SARASA

Great coffee spot!
I loved the ambience, industrial & nature, and the menu offerings. Some of the drinks were sold out by the time I went (after 4PM) but the iced coffee was excellent. I also tried one of their cakes! Great option before or after the Nijo-jo castle. Make sure to also visit the small shrine temple (Shinsen-en), located one block away.

The environment is very cozy, with the plants and wooden tables, but you might have to wait if you come late. The coffee aroma is very soothing, you can choose different coffee beans according to your taste. Apologies for knocking over the water glass :) I would definitely recommend coming here again!

Except the hip interior food and coffee is below average. Toasts are extremely basic and with low quality bread which is even hard to cut. No proper milk bread or brioche. As they dont do cappuccino or latte, we ordered coffee with milk. That was terrible and milk was overheated. Not worth the waiting, better just go support local style cafes for breakfast

This place is so atmospheric and chill!
Their french toast was like heaven. They have 4 different beans for a drip coffee, and you can add some milk or sugar if you wish.
I would like to visit it again some day!

Very cozy cafe in an alley. Drip coffee is of good quality and tastes great. There's a choice from 4 coffee bean types.
French toast was really good.
The barista was welcoming and nice.

Come by for breakfast before heading out of Kyoto. This is a cute little spot (can be easily missed as it’s in an alleyway). Good coffee, good pastries, and good French toast. Place is really small and can only house a few guest at a time (even though we arrived early, we had to wait a bit - about 4-5 guest inside at the time)

A very nice quaint cafe with rustic vibes . We’ve been traveling Japan for a while and has this place has the best coffee so far. We ordered the French toast, pizza toast, egg and bacon toast, a cup of drip coffee and an iced milk coffee. The coffee was satisfying after a breezy morning stroll and had full flavour body with a good nose tho with a bit of sooty aftertaste but nonetheless a great coffee overall. The French toast was soft and drizzled with syrup and a side of ice cream, both the pizza and egg and bacon toasts were great aswell especially. Overall one of the better cafes I’ve been to this trip and would hope to come back again.
