Great place for those just getting into sport climbing outdoors. Lots of easy climbs at the lower grades and at a range of heights from 5m all the way to 35m. There can be little bits of loose rock about, so use a helmet and stick to the higher quality routes using the Rockfax guides and you’ll have a great time!
Great place to practice sport climbing in the Peak District. Lots of well maintained anchors, just be careful of the loose rocks, helmets are a must for belaying.
A great and varied climbing area we climbed in November -2 and only 2 other climbers around simply amazing climbing. Just know the pitches are long so check the rope length and take plenty of quickdraws We took a 70m rope and climbed with about 18-20 and were fine
