Great museum. We spent about 3 hours including the cafe and the gift shop.
Excellent museum in Kerkrade with several interactive activities for children and adults. Each section exposes a different subject: engineering, body function, mechanics, electronics, energy, puzzles, inventions, environment and evolution of technology. I myself found it a fantastic place to explore and recommend all audiences to give it a try. It's totally worth it. Museum is just on the other side of the centrum station in Kerkrade. You cannot eat or drink inside the museum for obvious reasons, but there's a nice café where you can have a lekker meal. No doubts it was one of the nicest museums I've been in the Netherlands so far. Go and enjoy!
Super leuk lab to create things with your kid. Super organized. Just missed some further info in English. Top museum and we could learn a lot! Don't miss it!! Easy to park as well.
Overall, a great interactive museum with nice thematic exhibitions ; even our 3 year old enjoyed it, although i would recommend it for older kids, from~ 6yo.
- could be more buggy/wheelchair friendly with more lifts/ramps.
-unfortunately little information in english, only in Dutch and German.
-NOT a breastfeeding friendly space because of staff attitude: have been asked to move from restaurant to a remote room - unacceptable!! - hence 3 stars only.
