so far my favourite fine dinning in HK. Great service and well designed menu. And I must say VEA knows how to properly make Asian fusion cocktails, full of surprises.
Came here for my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint! If you can, do RSVP to sit by the counter, it's such an experience because you get a closeup of view of the team working the kitchen, desert station and mixology station. I also highly recommend the cocktail or mocktail pairing. The co-founder has put a lot of effort in developing (some) tea-based cocktails to go with each meal.
Also, the bathroom is beautiful. It has aesop hand wash, lotion, mouth wash too! Beyond that, they are also stocked with toothbrushes, eye drops and toothpicks! So extra!
When you leave, they give you cookies for the road in velvety grey pouches 🥹
Everything at this restaurant is top knotch. They've thought through every little detail to make your evening special. Since I'm pregnant and my husband is allergic to eggs - they were able to make accomodations!
To accomodate for the caviar, I instead enjoyed lobster in Japanese tomato water paired with apples (?) and tomatoes.
My husband couldn't enjoy the custard because of eggs - they made him tuna tartar instead!

there were many gimmicks but i didn’t find them pretentious. Chinese ingredients naturally integrated with French cooking techniques. That’s the true fusion..! Not just putting wagyu beef in your spicy hotpot soup. I really enjoyed it here.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. As one would expect from a Michelin-starred tasting menu, there was something new and interesting to try. Service and presentation were impeccable. Dishes are on the subtle side in terms of flavors, but I believe it is by design and I really liked it. What set it apart for me though was the wine pairing. I went with the basic one and it went very well with a menu, which for me does not happen every time. This time it really clicked. Really enjoyable dinner in every respect
been here couple of times and chef Vicky never disappointed. menue changes almost quarterly so even the frequent customers will not be bored. price definitely on the high side, but then it is all worthwhile of the whole dining experience. dishes are mainly fusion of hong kong Chinese cuisine with some modern western touch. expect dishes to be rich and fresh with bit preserved fishy taste. cozy but chic Deco. do try the cocktail pairing as it elevates the dining experience.

Ensconced in a spacious and vibrant atmosphere, table seating was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was friendly, eager to accommodate and extremely attentive to details. Each item on the carefully crafted 8 course set menu revealed a unique story, was beautifully designed and tasted heavenly delicious.
Not cheap but you truly get what you pay for in the unique presentation, taste and satisfyingly generous portions. Overall well worth the experience. Thank you for a truly memorable Anniversary dinner. The dinner gift upon our departure was over the top!
Needless to say I will be recommending friends and going back again. 😋
