08/2024.It is an amazing landscape, where people in the past take advantage of the soil structure, to construct houses, storages,churches and monasteries inside the rocks. However, the 20€ ticket in Göreme open air museum, plus 6 € more for the durk church (without the permission to take photos or videos) and 13€ for every underground city,seems to be a lot of money for what people in present time believe that have to charge you. It is better to visit the place early in the morning (opening time : 08:15) because in summer season is very hot. It is also useful to carry a bottle with water for any case ( there is also a café inside Göreme open air museum) and wearing a pair of sneakers with good grip, because sometimes the soil is not stable ( sun protection is also important). For the underground cities you have to drive for about 25 kilometres away from Göreme.There is an all day pass for all the sightseeing s of kapadokia for 65€.( Ticket table on photos).
Amazing place, must visit at least once in a life time.
Floating on the balloon over the rocks was a one-of-a-kind experience!
Over all the Cappadocia area the panoramic view of the rock formations is breath-taking. Recommended.
Amazing park and rock sites. So stunning and with such an ancient feel. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks and highly recommend everyone to visit if you are in Cappadocia. We visited in winter, and the weather was nice and cool. It was a special and unique experience.
Lifetime experience. One should mist visit if plans to visit best places in Turkey. Balloon experience and the scenery is serene.
