Magic and magic. You have to taste 😋

For the price, I didn’t feel that the food quality or the creativity was worth it.

We ate here recently and left with mixed opinions of the place. When visiting such a restaurant my expectation is that I leave and say that it was an experience. It unfortunately wasn't. I'll break it down:

Excellent food
Very good wine pairing
Mediocre service

On the last point, the service just wasn't attentive enough and the next dishes arrived so quickly that we sometimes still hadn't enough time to finish the previous wine. The interaction was non existent, and the explanation of what we were eating seemed only obligatory.

It was this factor that that removed the 'experience' factor for us. I accept that this is subjective, but for the price of the evening we would be happier to spend our money elsewhere.

I hope this review is accepted as feedback and not a complaint and would conclude with, that if you are not bothered by such things it is worth a visit for the food alone

We have spent a lovely evening at Restaurant Piment with fantastic food and great service. The 6 course nouri menu with accompanying wines was outstanding. I loved how the chef merged classic fine dining with a touch of the orient. This was our first but certainly not our last visit!

Incredible Michelin star food. They have a surprise menu on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for like 89EUR including the wine pairings!

We had a great dinner at Piment. We had the 7 course nouri menu with accompanying wines. Every course was excellent and the service very good. Clearly one of the best fine dining restaurants in Hamburg.
