Food was excellent just like you’d expect with a classic turkish styled diner. Nothing to complain about here food cooked perfectly staff are helpful and recommended some different types of dishes which turned out to be really good and overall the experience and night ended well with some turkish tea on the house
I was a bit skeptical about all the good reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The food is DELICIOUS. Excellent and attentive service. Very nice atmosphere. Clean bathrooms.

We visited Gurme Kebab Restaurant because of the good reviews and were eager to try the famous pottery kebab. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. We ordered the chicken testy kebab, and it lacked flavor and was very basic. The waiter served it in a traditional clay pot but only pretended to break it open, which felt like a gimmick. I expected the dish to be authentically cooked in the clay pot, especially for the price they charge.
On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. We also ordered a lamb kebab, which was very good. However, the overall experience with the chicken testy kebab left us quite disappointed.

Katmer dessert and sahlep were delicious! The salad they served you with the meal was also very nice. I had the heart skewers... These were a bit tougher then I would have liked (as heart is one of my fave meat cuts) but I expect their other kebabs would be nicer which I'm keen to go back to try. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Ambience is nice.
Gurme Kebab Restaurant in Cappadocia is a must-visit for any food lover. The experience was outstanding from start to finish. The highlight, of course, is the food. The grilled chicken wings were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful meat. The grilled chicken breast was equally impressive, tender and succulent with a delightful smoky flavor.

The best turkish food we had here in our trip. Located at the heart of goreme. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We have adana kebab and lamb kebab…..amazing tatse. Finally we finished with khunafa.

Best restaurant in Cappadocia!!! If you’re a food lover, this is a must visit place for you. We tried their Pottery (Testi) chicken kebab and it was mouthwatering!! Perfect spices and tenderness of chicken. I have tried testi kebab at other places as well, but this was the best one so far. It comes with Naan and kus kus. We also tried their Firni (rice pudding) and it was 5/5 stars. Staff is polite, helpful and courteous. They show great hospitality to their customers. Erme was our server and he deserves more than 5 stars for his service and hospitality. Thank you Gurme Kebab restaurant for the yummy food and we will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!!
