Riga Central Market is a fantastic place to experience local culture and enjoy fresh produce. The market offers a wide range of products - from fresh fruits and vegetables to meat, fish, and local artisan goods. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, and the vendors are friendly and helpful. The market buildings themselves are an architectural marvel, adding extra charm to the visit. Riga Central Market is a must-visit if you want to get a true taste and feel of Riga.
Beautiful market to be in when you visit the eastern side of Europe.

The must to visit in Riga! :) I simply loved this market. They are selling here everything, e.g. fresh meat, fish, honey, bread, vegetables, fruits, flowers, clothes, souvenirs, etc… Each hangar has its own theme, like meat, fish, etc. There are also places where you can sit down and enjoy some local/international dishes.
Old market place with a strong history. You can find absolutely anything you could think of, the products are very qualitative and the experience is really authentic. I was impressed by how clean it was and how easy is for a turist to shop there without knowing the local language.
Amazing market. The freshly baked pretzels are incredible. They also have an amazing selection of ultra fresh produce. Parking in the lot nearby is 3 euros per hour
Such a beautiful market with a lot of choice of cooked food, vegetables, meat, fish, flowers…
Get some lunch or breakfast there, everyone can find something they like and the price is really cheap.
Dumplings and a donut are the classic thing to get there and it was super good!

I absolutely love visiting city markets. This one was one of the best I have ever been to. The food area was amazing. There were plenty of options to choose from, all of them looked extremely delicious. If you also enjoy to dive into a market, plan yourself a couple of hours. There were russian sweets stand, freshly made sweets, handcrafted items, clothes, cheese and milk products section, fish section and the food court. Super cool place, I highly recommend visiting it.
