Lovely town, a tower you can visit for a few euros (quite high so you have a nice view over Frankfurt, the Feldberg, etc)
Cool place to hang out for a while. Well kept.
Friedberg's history is also worth looking at, especially during WW2.

It’s pretty fun to stroll about and relax in the yard. I remember going inside the castle and the tower as a kid in a class field trip but don’t know if it’s still possible.
The walls which look into the rest of the city have little goggles which show you how it looked way back.
Overall decent and cool place, there are Roman baths in the gymnasium there or so I’ve heard. But if it’s true you’ll probably not be able to enter as a tourist.
Check it out if you’re into that sort of stuff!!

Busy little town. Famous for Elvis being stationed there. There is an old fortress that is very interesting.
Its a nice burg and due to the extremely cold weather there were not too many people about. Of course everything was shut due to covid, but it was pleasant walking inside and then all the way around the castle on the outside and through the back streets.
Great place to take the whole family for some amazing views and sight seeing.
There are no set opening hours, but for tours there is a meeting spot on Sundays.
If you want to learn more about the history of Burg Friedberg then I definitely recommend a tour. We went on a foggy morning it was like I imagen the olden days.
The Adolfsturm can be climbed from the beginning of April to the end of October on Saturdays and Sundays and on public holidays from 2 to 6 p.m. The view of the Vogelsberg, the Taunus and as far as Frankfurt is magnificent.
Sightseeing Tours of Burg Friedberg and old town of Friedberg take place every Sunday. Meeting point is at 2 p.m. at the Wetterau Museum, Haagstraße 16. Guided tours for groups and school classes can also be organized on request.

Really nice place for a short trip when you are in the area of Frankfurt. The train connection is pretty good and the area plenty of restaurants, cafes or bars around
