Didn't pay to go there but saw it at night and daylight it's amazing
A deserted mosque bearing testimony to its history.
Really amazing place with awesome athmosphere. Every statue, every stone and the drop of send here return the visitors into ancient times where the heroes of greek legends were alive.. Fantastic landscape opens to those who was dire to up to the hill. It definitely worths to visit this place of Ancient Greece.
One of the most interesting buildings in ancient greece
A wonderful place for observing Athens and especially the Acropolis.
It is recommended to arrive at sunset.

30€ ticket, shame shame 😳 🇬🇷
I would highly recommend climbing Lycabettus Hill. We went nice and early to avoid crowds and it was 100% worth it.

The walk up is lovely but be ready for a lot of steps. Remember to take water and stop to enjoy the views as you climb.

The views from the top of the hill are incredible. We had a clear view of The Acropolis and the city.

There is a restaurant at the top of the hill as well. We didn’t stop in as we went super early but I’ve heard it’s nice to stop for a coffee or a drink.

Would highly recommend as this was the highest accessible viewing point in Athens!
Great views of the city of Athens, you can clearly view the Acropolis, the Olympic Stadium, Piraeus Port and many other attractions. There is a hiking track available, and a cable car 🚠 for those, who don’t want to climb up the hill. Tickets for the cable are 10 euro per person.

Wonderful views! I recommend getting to the top a bit before the sundown to see the city views while it’s still light outside and then enjoy it until it gets darker to see the city lights. Great vibes! But beware that it gets very crowded around that time.

Very awesome unique structure with an information board to read about its history next the Parthenon.

The Erechtheion, or Temple of Athena Polias, is an ancient Greek ionic temple on the north side of the Acropolis, Athens, which was mainly dedicated to the goddess Athena. It’s architect was Mnesikles, with its construction beginning in 421 BC, and completed in 406 BC.

Great unobstructed views of the city. Very steep climb up the south side. Thankfully there is a bar at the top. We took a taxi up was only €5 from the monument of the unknown soldier.
We walked down the south slope took around 20mins including stops for photos and catching breath!
I’m not sure it’s worth the wait and the ticket price to get in. You can see it from almost anywhere in Athens and those experiences are a lot more pleasant. Being jostled and pushed as people try to get up the steps and around the Parthenon really takes the fun out of it.
In my opinion, a bit over hyped and easily can get scammed. We were tired of hiking mountains that day so we thought of going via funicular and a taxi outside was offering us to take to the top for 20€ but that’s just to the top and might not exactly take you to the top. The funicular was for 10 both ways.

If you’re not too tired and you don’t mind the crowd, you can watch the sunset here. Can come up via funicular and climb back down, enjoying the breeze and sunset.

We went inside the church on top of the hill, felt disappointed at the current state, not really well maintained. We prayed for sometime and came back via the funicular. I think the funicular might have stolen the whole experience.

If you’re a tourist or traveler like me who likes to explore the street life, this a good area down hill. We climbed the stairs right about the funicular. Walked around a bit. Most of the shops close really early here.

The hill has a funicular for easy access. Or a path for those wanting more of a workout. The view is incredible. With views of all of Athens. There is a restaurant that is quite reasonable with very good food. The real treat is being here during sunset. Most people take a picture and move allowing others to take a picture. Be aware of those who refuse to move. Or make sure you aren't one of them. Many people make the journey up the mountain and the view should be enjoyed by all.
It is the perfect place for a Sunday walk! You can either go by yourself and relax or go with friends and hang out with beers and watch the beautiful sunset. You can also meet other travellers. There is also a church on top of the hill along with a restaurant where you can also take a sit and enjoy the view with food and drinks. It is fantastic ✨🌄

I love this place because this is a great place to visit when you come to Athens. it is located in the city centre and close to the other other tourist attractions. It’s a great place to spend your time with your friends and family. There are many things to see that are quite interesting for you to learn from. I’d say this place is pretty historical itself.
You do not need to buy tickets to come to this place as it is free for public. You can pretty much see the city of Athens from here. Be careful when you climbing up the hill it’s pretty rocky. Wear comfortable shoes!
This is in the Acropolis, so you'll need to get the tick for the whole site.
It is a beautiful ancient building. Very impressive.

It is a great place to watch the sun set over the Acropolis and the city of Athens. After the lights are turned on, the Acropolis looks stunning against a dark blue sky. A visit to the small hill is highly recommended, but be careful of the slippery rocks.
A lovely building with interesting architecture.
Unfortunately it was closed when we went but still something lovely to see.
It's right next to the Roman Agora and 1 minute from Hadrian's Library. Only a few minutes from the Ancient Agora too.
You can go up this hill for free. You get a great view of the Acropolis and the city. The path is a bit slippery, and the stairs are narrow, so be careful when you go up to see it.
The Odeon of Agrippa, nestled within the archaeological wonders of Athens, stands as a testament to ancient grandeur. Originally a majestic concert hall, its partial reconstruction allows visitors to envision its former glory. The intricate details of its façade and the echoes of its classical purpose make it a captivating stop. Though a fragment of its former self, the Odeon of Agrippa contributes to the rich tapestry of Athens' historical legacy.
Beautiful small temple close to the gate of the Acropolis. You cannot get super close but you can see how well this temple is preserved and the marble looks almost intact. Getting close you need to walk some stairs, not the most friendly for wheelchairs.
Beautiful view from the top of the rock. You have a great view to the Acropolis but also the ancient Agora of Athens. Especially during sunset it is beautiful to see the sky from this hill. Also the view of the Acropolis is very nice from here. The hill you can enter for free, it is a bit rocky and might be hard to walk for old people.
Simple but beautiful temple that stands out as you approach the gates of the Acropolis since it was built on a defensive bastion. You'll see it on your right as you're climbing the stairs. Almost completely restored, it looks almost new, especially next to the ruined state of most temples on the hill. It looks almost as it must have during antiquity and it is a wonder to behold for the 30 to 60 seconds that you'll have before the crowds push you along the stairs to the propylaea. The access is questionable, i did not try to go near it as it seemed off limits
Beautiful and prominent temple that greets you when you step through the stairs and gates of the Acropolis. It is very pristine and well maintained. It holds historical significance, and the temple was built to worship Athena in the form of Nike (goddess of victory) after the war against Spartans.
Remains of an ancient temple on the top of acropolis hill. You can view it from a distance which is not done after paying an expensive ticket.

The Agrippa Odeon is located on the so-called Panitanian Road in the ancient Agora. There are several statues of Triton at its entrance.
