Comfortable and soothing g environment nice music and well manner staff

I took Swedish spa , brightening facial .it was relaxing and rejuvenating. Kipgen was really good and she followed my words as I asked to keep light pressure.

HONEST REVIEW AS A TOURIST:

There is an option to book online and it also states the price for the booking. I booked for a couples massage which was INR 6,324.80 however when I got there they had no idea I had made a booking even though I was contacted via WhatsApp to confirm the booking.

We got in the massage room and the whole environment was just lacking tranquility and calmness. There was no music playing and half way through my massage THERE WAS SOMEONE BANGING A NAIL THROUGH THE WALL FOR 20 minutes of my massage. Just as I thought that was the end of it both the masseuseS in the room started having a conversation to each other which disturbed my peace. Adding on top of that there was another lady who kept knocking and entering in and out the door of our massage room I counted 6 times she had done that.

The shower and steam room I found quite average. I was told upon booking that my shower in our couples room was not working so we had to put a robe on and walk out the front reception to the next door room.

Once I had finished the lady insisted upon bringing us a green tea which she never did so I had to ask again after 20 minutes.

Now this is where the real problem started. Upon paying they tried to charge me almost INR 7300 which was INR 1000 more listed than what was shown on my booking. They claimed that they had never seen this price and whatever price was shown online wasn’t communicated to them. They also claimed that on top of that they charged 18% tax which isn’t stated in any part of the booking charges. I waited almost an hour after my massage and I was so stressed trying to sort this out with the staff that it fully defeated the purpose of being calm after a massage. I also tried to explain that I was offered a 10% discount that is also stated on their website on weekdays… they had no clue about it.

In all there is a major communication error within this business and it needs to be addressed. Our masseuses were good (apart from the constant talking between them), front of staff friendly (just no communication within the business). Personally I won’t be going back thank you.

The rating is for the spa staff who did excellent job. Hospitality & service was really disappointing. The male manager who sits there is extremely a disgrace to the brand. He is an unprofessional,obnoxious man & as people make the brand, I am forced to think twice about going back there now. It was a very traumatizing experience from the word go. He tried his best to humiliate, mock & belittle me. A glass of water to be given to me came at the cost of abusing his staff. He might have confused me with someone who doesn't follow Hindi :) as he muttered and abused away. If my self esteem was any lower, I perhaps would have been affected by this. He had the audacity to body shame me & force his staff to giggle under the pretext of selling a package. I had prebooked my session & people who came in without appointments were asked to go in & I was sitting right next to his table to understand what was going on. He was extremely rude & even yelled at me for using the bathroom which is outside of the spa area during my treatment time. His constant line of questioning was "will someone come pay for you?? What the hell do you mean by that? Am I a small kid?"He said, " Looking at what you are wearing,I am asking you it you can afford our premium services " he said. I understand that he judges a book by it's cover. He doesn't understand Under Armour & Nike takes money & a good fashion sense. However, he kept insisting that I pay before I start the treatment while he let others pay post treatment. I don't believe it was me at all. He worships foreigners & struggles to even extend basic courtesy to Indians who pay the same amount for elite treatments. I initially let it go thinking that he is having a hard day. But he just was very condescending & very rude even asked his staff to tell me to leave the premises while I sat there waiting for cab. Why this behaviour? Did his old triggers come alive after meeting me ? Why the frown when I spoke in the local language while I sat their waiting for my turn? The founders seem to have done a great job here, but I hope they understand that what was supposed to be a relaxing experience actually was stressing me out & traumatising only because one person decided to misbehave & consistently push my buttons? I request only for him to learn and polish his behaviour & not ruin someone's experience because of his own personal bias.

Had a bad experience here. Booked an appointment for a full body massage for 2 and specifically requested for a room together female specialists. They confirmed the booking with details requested. But when we turned up, we were first informed that they had only one couples room which was taken. We waited for another 10 mins and were informed all their specialists were busy except for one and if we can do the treatment in sequence. This is both frustrating and unprofessional for the price they charge. Go at your own risk, you may just have to turn back which we did.

Meghavi Wellness Spa is highly recommended if you are visiting India. Massage & Facial services are the best and they offer various kinds of therapy including Stone, Kansa wand, Warm Bamboo, and Herbal Potli.
