Обычный супермаркет, есть продукты, пыльно-мыльные товары, садовый инвентарь и вещи. Не самый дешевый но и далеко не самый дорогой. Немного неудобно, что находится в стороне от центра города. Обслуживание быстрое, никаких нареканий.
We always come here for the bubble tea, unlimited possibilities and the taste is great. You can ask for them not to add sugar as some of the drinks can be too sweet.

Customer service lady absolutely deplorable. Poor communication, resolver, mannerism, initiative. Apart from that the store is reasonably laid out, though could be cleaner

Ample parking space. Large enough store. Staffs at the till always seems to be grumpy. Could be a little more welcoming.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

In recent days, I had the unfortunate experience of encountering what can only be described as subpar customer service at my local Lidl store, courtesy of the store manager. This encounter left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, prompting me to share my experience.

Upon entering the store, I encountered an issue with a promotion that was not honored as advertised. Seeking assistance, I approached the manager, hoping for a swift resolution. Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager proved to be far from satisfactory. The manager displayed a lack of empathy and a dismissive attitude, making me feel as though my concerns were inconsequential.

One of the key aspects of effective customer service is active listening, and unfortunately, this manager seemed to fall short in this regard. Instead of attentively listening to my concerns, there was a palpable sense of impatience, as if my issue was a mere inconvenience. This not only left me feeling unheard but also contributed to a sense of frustration and dissatisfaction.

Moreover, the manager failed to offer any meaningful solutions or alternatives to address the problem at hand. A lack of problem-solving skills and a reluctance to go the extra mile for a customer can significantly impact the overall customer experience. In this instance, it became apparent that the manager's focus was more on dismissing the issue than on finding a resolution, leaving me dissatisfied with the level of service provided.

Furthermore, the overall tone and demeanor of the manager were unprofessional. A positive customer experience is often shaped by the professionalism and courtesy of the staff, especially those in managerial positions. Unfortunately, the manager's demeanor only added to the unpleasantness of the encounter, leaving me questioning the commitment of Lidl to customer satisfaction.

In contrast to my expectations based on prior positive experiences at Lidl, this encounter has left a lasting negative impression. It is disheartening to see a lapse in customer service, especially from a managerial figure who should ideally set an example for the rest of the staff.

In conclusion, my recent experience with the Lidl store manager's customer service was disappointing on multiple fronts. From a lack of empathy and active listening to a failure in providing viable solutions, the overall encounter left much to be desired. It is my hope that Lidl takes such feedback seriously and considers the impact that individual interactions, particularly those involving managerial staff, can have on the overall perception of the brand. A renewed focus on customer-centric practices and professional conduct could go a long way in ensuring that future encounters at Lidl are characterized by the positive experiences that customers deserve.
Super Asia Foods in Athlone is my go to store for Asian treats, noodles and condiments. I pop in here maybe once a week and usually pick up some prepackaged noodles, Poki sticks and my favourite Peanut and Taro Mochi. The service is quick and efficient. If you're looking for something in particular the staff are pretty helpful.

Very poor problem solving by managment in Athlone store.
Also one of the sales assistants werent too polite , when i was approaching till his till was still open ,when i came close he told me it was closed...he did not look busy at all. I generally shop in this store but some staff could be more helpful. Im a regular customer.
