Staff are very helpful both in the supermarket & on the tills. Always pleasant & polite & if I have a full shopping trolley they will pack my bags. I have bought bags of compost & bedding plants & a member of staff placed them in my car for me. The parking is easy & accesible. I usually have a café latte after shopping. Aisles well spaced out & the florists do excellent hand tied bouquets for special events. I combine Aldi with Morrisons usually at Reddish.great to see a fishmonger & a butcher: I order a big roast for special family events & The but her prepared it!👍👏👏
Great fresh bread/cake selection, jam donuts are the best
Having worked in retail I know it can be a tough industry to work in. That being said, basic manners such as a simple acknowledgement or hello and thanks would be a rarity in this place. Especially when I say hello and thanks first. When you need an item approval at the self checkout I often feel I'm inconveniencing the staff member to ask them to help me. Sort it out please as this is a regular occurrence.
This store is often cluttered with so many delivery pallets that you can't reach some shelves. Also makes getting around the store with a wheelchair or scooter really difficult. Also, they don't often stock 2 pint milk.
The way into the store as a pedestrian is awful. Lift is tiny and slow. Only other way in is via a ramp. It does not feel safe. Store itself is okay.
Nice big supermarket only thing is you got watch parking you got put your reg in at the packing table
The fresh food is good quality
The cafe staff are great. Food is always nice. And the deli meat and fish counter staff are dead helpful. However The self check out are a different breed. A couple of the staff that are long standing been there ages are hopeless. One didn't know what a baking apple was......and after experiencing total disregard to my request for help on Saturday evening about 8pm at the self scanner I am going to try and give the shop a miss.
Aldi always great and the special buys are great prices. We need more aldis. The only problem is trying to get a job there. The amount of rounds you have to go through is madness ! But it's thorough. Cannot fault a bit of Aldi !!
Attention! Car parking. Parking eye will send you a £70 charge if you don't register with the terminal in store. It is poorly signed and not clear. If you do get a charge, ring Aldi call centre and if you can prove you shopped during that time you can get the charge dropped. However we must fight these cowboy carpark owners. So in addition to this please write an email to your local MP complaining about poorly signed car parks taking advantage of people. This cannot carry on like this!
Shop here most days usually have what you need sometimes only one on till so have long queues but most times they do ring for another on till
It feels very alien in comparison to other supermarkets, and it doesn’t even seem that much lower in price to other places to put yourself through this sort of experience — it’s always remarkable how you’re expected to throw all of your shopping into your bag as if your life depends on it 😂
The free from items are very hard to get a hold of in this store and they don't stock rotate properly. Such a let down.
Parking is very good. Store always well stocked. Never shop anywhere else.
Take your pick. Argos, Currys, Dunelm, B&M's, B&Q, Next Pets@Home, CarpetRight, Halfords, Costa, Coffee, McDonald's and a very popular large burger van outside of B&Q. The choice is yours with ample parking. It is very busy at the weekend and busy during the week.
Love this shop and such friendly staff
Will never shop at this store ever again, pallets left in every isle meaning you can't get to the shelves and you can get to the shelves there usually empty, most of the staff are rude and seem miserable, then there's the creepy security guards who spend most of their time looking at females and there backsides, and chatting them up, dont let your wifes, partners and daughters shop alone here, and watch out for the guy at the checkouts.

I’ve got to ask the question but is everyone who works here brain dead and rude? They seem to believe customers work for them and whichever manager decided it would be a good idea to block off the car park for a garden centre and not show signs to avoid the front of the building must be the star of the supermarket.

I will never buy from this store twice. I was unfairly fined. Someone should be required to tell customers that they will be fined if they don't register their car because there is no such thing in other Aldi supermarkets and for It was all new, I'm sorry for your wrong.
Recently had a refresh and getting used to the new layout! All the staff friendly here, especially the VERY smiley chatty guy on self check outs. Go here once a week :)
Bad staffs, had a few problem and wait for my wife in the coffee shop before shopping at the store and then I've been 15 minutes after 2 hour free park and staff refuse to wave or get my plate number to send to parking company, even if the sign said that if we need a bit more time customer services should help. Really bad customer service and staffs, be careful with the park scam.
Very poor today , the Lady on the salad counter was so rude . Front end at self scan the runner used foul language in front of my friend and grandson, because the self scan froze . . Absolutely shocking experience.. Definitely giving this store a miss from now on !!!!
No idea why we actually go in here, never any of the offers available (even on the actual day).... never enough tills open, and rarely any more are opened, on the rare occasion that another till looked like opening, the staff member told a customer that he will be open in about 10 mins.... about 90 seconds later he opened up.

Had a great time at Lidl! Super chill vibe, and the staff is cool and helpful. Love the variety of stuff they've got, and prices are wallet-friendly. Lidl's my jam for groceries – keep rocking!
Terrible click and collect it yourself. 20 mins pressing the buzzer and checked in on the app and no one arrived. Had to go into the back with everyone’s orders to look for ours. Couldn’t find our order, walked through to deliveries where I found an asda employee. Asked if he could help me and he just said he didn’t know how to. Walked through the back, into the store to find a shop floor worker who eventually helped.
No queue and staff were efficient
Good location and convenient however what let's it down is the staff working at the self check out. No smile at all, feels like they hate their job. I had an issue with item not scanning properly so called a member of staff for help but was ignored. Second time she came over, swiped her card looked at me and said you need to learn how to scan and walked off! I'm local however much rather drive further and shop elsewhere.
No complaints about the shop and it's quality and prices but received a parking fine of £40 because I overlooked to put my car reg in the terminal. Be warned guys. (Is this what Aldi wants?)
Bought a lamb joint from here and even though it was just about in date (which I discovered once I brought it home) it smelt off and stunk out the house. It put me off eating it, so, that was money wasted. I won't trust the raw meat from there again.
Good. Ut sometimes grocery items are not available. The staff there are so helpful. It would be good to have more variety on dairy
Absolutely massive shop. Unfortunately , the choice of clothes for younger kids is very poor, otherwise very well stocked up on drink and food etc.
This place as been freezing for weeks. It's been colder outside than in this store. It's that cold you can't think what you want let alone browse. It's the poor staff I feel for how they expected to work in those conditions is beyond me. No wonder they short staff as they all must be ill in those temperatures. This store should be closed untill heating is fixed. Not fair to staff and regular vulnerable customers. I even went to lime Square one. Again that was also freezing, I'd have to question the company why? We all need to save but your prices make up for a little heating so turn them on for the sake of your loyal staff. I definitely would of walked.
Beware the automated car wash.
Washed my car with the ultimate programme and it scratched the vehicle in the process. Despite following their complaints process, and chasing this over the last three months, I had to turn up in store today for the store manager to advise they had rejected the claim (no idea in what grounds as still not letter). Apparently they had informed me about this, no idea how. Now taking this via ADR or failing that small claims court.
Apparently i am not the only customer who has had this issue of late. Buyer beware.

Staff are lovely and friendly. Always make a good conversation at the till which let’s be honest it’s no good if you go the supermarket and don’t have a chat with the cashier. Just makes your trip that much better and easier.
Been shopping hear now for some time and go back every week. The staff are friendly and helpful the place is always clean.
Has a good range of stock but it needs a little more I think. Bakery is great, they also have customer toilets and a phone with a direct link to a taxi company. Could not ask for more, thank you Lidl.

Pretty good stock for when you’re in the area — but not quite as good as the one in Stockport town centre
A decent-sized Asda with fairly friendly staff— walking into the supermarket is fairly daunting though lol
Used delivery service throughout the pandemic, drivers always friendly and on time 10/10 to them. Unfortunately, one driver hit our car, parked outside, in March. They were very apologetic and left their name and store details.
Tried ringing the managers number given to us throughout the day but it just rang out. Tried ringing the store, only to hear an automated message "due to Covid our phone lines are out of use". I never knew Covid also infected phonelines.
Ended up going through my insurance, which cost me £200 excess. Still haven't got it back as of July because they won't respond to my insurance companies letters/emails.
Luckily I have pictures and a witness. Could just do without the hassle.
Update: finally paid out in November 2021 just before the pending court date.
