Great prices! Such a big store I forgot it was there! Should have gone there first. Got exactly what I wanted for half of the expected price. I guess it's an outlet shop?

Good point: great customer service.
Bad: Check your price on what you want before purchasing from this outfit. I’ve noticed you only get a discount if you buy alcohol that’s on special. The stones ginger wine was more expensive here than your local liquor store. As well as some whiskeys.

Defeats the purpose of duty free

Received two chairs today,very happy with service, after few calls to ensure would be when I wasn't working, great service from Greg Westgate branch and delivery guys wonderful, made sure in and setup 👍👍really quickly 😀

I paid $242.50 AUD ($252 NZD) for a Giorgi Armani Si Passione gift pack as a gift for my wife, I was told it was a good deal, such a shame the saleswoman didn’t also tell me that choosing to pay in AUD with my phone app was going to cost me more with their marked up exchange rate but I guess that’s on me for not wearing my reading glasses and being so trusting 🙄 I won’t go into detail about what I think of her as my experience I think speaks for itself. I’ve since found I can buy exactly the same thing in Australia online or in store at BigW for $199 AUD. Lesson learnt, never again will I buy duty free from there. Anything other than alcohol or tobacco is likely a con in my opinion.

We originally went into the Wairau store to buy a couch. We found what we were after. We called back purchase, Unfortunately after multiple call backs they just could not get our email correct to send payment links too. I was also made to feel less than worthy when I was talking to a member on the phone because he was unhappy with me calling to buy because he wanted our commission. I was fed up and went to another store to buy. We were looked after very well by Teresa in the Westgate store. Not only did she send the email link right away with no issues but she was helpful, pleasant and kept us in the loop every step of the way. I also want to say a huge thank you to the guy who helped get the couch in my car. He went above and beyond. Well done Westgate!

I’m giving my experience 3 stars as I had an awesome experience with one of the shop assistants on Saturday, I had been looking for a new scent for almost a year and I finally found one thanks to the staff here who took their time listening to what I wanted, and catering towards it. But to my disappointment - I got home and realised that the assistant had packaged the wrong scent by mistake, I’m pretty guttered about that as I had been searching for so long, and I can’t just go back into duty free and correct the mistake.

I’ve been calling consistently over the last few days to talk to someone but it feels like no one monitors the phones. I’ve emailed and have yet to get a response - can someone please get back to me to rectify this situation?

This shop have fresh vegetables and not so expensive, like fruits very cheap and vegetables not really that cheap but very fresh.

Worst Boerewors ever! Bland no flavour and fell apart like cooking Mince. Milk tart bought, one badly broken on account of bad packing, could not be served.. very disappointing!

The person that served me was more interested in talking on the phone. Disappointed with products purchased and melk tart broken.

The Chinese saleswoman in Chanel was very rude and arrogant. She was chatting with her colleagues, and I asked her about loose powder. She suddenly stared at me expressionlessly and said one word to me: No. Then she immediately turned around and laughed and chatted with other colleagues. The attitude was very rude and bad. I feel very disrespected. Regardless of whether there is stock here, please correct your attitude. Do your sales duties well.

Placed an online order to be collected, order was ready so drove to the store and get told I need to have ID with me. Had misplaced my wallet the other day so didn't bother bringing in my passport as there was no mention of ID in my email. All I get told was "okay I'll pass that on". Absolute waste of my time and money to drive out here!

Products were stale. Only realized when we got home that chips, biscuits and chocolates were well beyond there sell buy date.

Absolutely amazing service would give big save furniture 10 stars if I could. As soon as we walked in staff were amazing asked if we needed help and then left us to it. When we went to purchase they were very knowledgeable with products. Waited 5 weeks for delivery (absolutely fine as we knew this). Once it arrived and unpacked, it noticed a rip on bottom and on actual front of sofa. Sent an email and, with an hour, had a call saying they will replace it and we can use that one in the meantime. Thank you so much we will only be purchasing from Big save westgae now due to amazing costumer service + quality products. Thank you.

Shopped here on Sunday the 12th of May. Keen to purchase several perfumes for my wife. My wife was keen to try the Prada but the tester was empty. Asked the sales lady if they would open a new tester and was bluntly told no, and tried to get my wife to sniff the empty bottle which had no scent,told your sales person they just lost a sale, she didn't seem too concerned and no overly excited to be helpful. Don't employ people who going to lose you business. Extremely poor customer service. If you want more sales in the future, take a good look at your Google reviews. Comments aren't great.

Not sure what has happened but the boerewors and samosa products have become really bad in the last 6 months. The boerewors is now 90% fat. The frozen samosas are... Blah? From the best to disgusting.... What a loss :(

With Fred's Fine Foods and Something from Home it is never necessary to order from this place. They have a very poorly maintained, out of date website and their communication is horrible. So many better places for SA food in NZ.

Amazing service!!! The sales guy (Ali G) was very helpful and even though we couldn’t make our minds up for over an hour and half, he was always very polite even when I asked for a tape measure a million times.
After we finally made a decision and bought a stunning couch we went home to do more measurements. Ali was amazing over the phone and we went on to buy three more pieces of furniture.
Can’t say another about how great Ali was… great service A+++++

Website very poor for ordering online..site doesn't match reality with different prices and deals, search engine slow and keeps saying nothing found..requires extended perimeters to search for key words that are there but never to be found. Shopping experience slow with not enough checkouts..staff are very friendly though..

Variety good, but check Best Before date. Some of the products I've bought before were expired.

Always a nostalgic visit. We have our favorite buys. Great samosas, vetkoek and bunnies.

Had a very positive experience shopping for a new bed base and mattress this weekend. Ali provided very helpful and friendly customer service. He showed and explained all of the options within my expectations and answered all questions effectively. He also showed us how the bed bases are flat packed and mattresses are vacuum sealed for easy transport. Assembly was very simple using the manual, but was also recommended a helpful YouTube video by big save furniture for any further assistance. Will return again for future furniture purchases!

Good little shop. The chocolate was very yummy. I guess some hand made stuff. Good customer service. Sells hand crafted home wares, jewellery, toys, hand painted ceramics, gifts and delicious organic coffee and chocolate. Trade Aid is a social enterprise creating fairness in trade.

We received a king bed, mattress, and bed head set. The mattress and base were fine, but the bed head came with bed bugs which has now infected our base, mattress and room. Big save was not very active in dealing with this and emails are not answered in a hurry after an upset phone call. Jordan

Very false advertising. Will also be taking this up further. When it says 30% of these products clearly. When you take it to counter ' no sorry these items are not" why put these items under these labels. Misleading and false advertisement. Photos attached. Just for your reference spoke to Latisha. Feel sorry for those girls , who had to make excuses not their job. Travel regularly will never spend a dollar at this place.

Products are always consistently expired. Terrible communication if you don't get blocked first. Would NOT recommend. Such disappointment from a fellow South African.

Tried to tell me the kutai were fresh.
Not even they were all dead as... Go touch them and they spring open again, small paua that looked like old rubber. The 🐟 not that much better neither was the meat.
Not all was a loss though. Picked a really good selection of fruit and veggies at a fair price I totally loved the range of sauce, salts and spices so yeah..

Went three did not excist

Really good variety of different vegs, spices and meats. However didnt find what was looking for but gave me another option for when I want spices. Good layout of the store as it mean you get to see everything this store offers. Cool place 😎

Easy access off-street parking (4 large car parks). Centally located within Westcity's basement floor (below Specsavers).

A rather large, diverse range of home wares, household necessities, 'potential gifts' and useful knick knacks.

I was there to pick up my Rooibos tea.

Cheaper meat prices. I like how the meats are packaged into smaller sizes 500 grams for example.they have different cuts too to cater to your cooking needs. Being an Asian i find most of what i need for our cuisine here. Their staff eapecially the fresh fish section are so friendly. You can have you fish cleaned and cut how you want it.

My workmate and I work at West City Mall in a customer service role and we were both shocked with how we were treated.

Earlier today I made a purchase in store and discovered Paper Plus offer printing/photocopying services. I previously tried searching online if they did but their website didn’t mention anything. Later on that day I went back to the store with one of my workmates to have a look at the printing/ photocopying prices. There were 2 staff at the counter. I asked the female staff if I could take a photo of the prices and she gave me permission. As my workmate and I were leaving the store we were abruptly approached by the other male staff who was the Manager/Owner. He questioned why we were taking photos of his store in a rude manner. I told him I had asked the lady if I could take a photo of the printing prices as there is nothing online and showed him the photo as proof. He said each store differs, said sorry and that he was being careful of people taking photos of his store.

However I believe the manager/owner treated my workmate and I rudely and with discrimination based on our race, age and gender. We are both young female adults and of different nationalities. I felt intimidated by the manager/owners use of his authority. If he has a problem with people taking photos in/of his store he needs to direct his staff not to give out permission next time. I apologised although we were not in the wrong.

Due to this experience myself and my workmate will not be coming back to this store. We will not be recommending Paper Plus Westcity to our coworkers, friends and family too.

Meat and in season produce for very reasonable prices. Not everything, obviously some fresh food will have already passed best before period 3 days ago but enough bargains exist that each time it's worthwhile returning for a bargain. Excellent rice, worth the price. Great place to practise your Thai.

Bought these great little coasters at Trade Aid in Henderson today. Love this little store. It always has something new and interesting, and the chocolate and olive oils are awesome!

Shop know for ethical sale. They buy stuff from directly from people and then sale in their shop. Most of the household stuff to decorate your house brought from around the world.
