Had an appointment booked in yesterday to get my nails done for my sister's wedding (so it was incredibly important to me to have nice nails) and I had a horrible experience. To say I am disappointed is a complete understatement. She started doing the nails, all is going fine until I notice that she has filled in one nail with acrylic completely crooked, I say to her that this nail is facing the total wrong direction to which she denied, I brought it up again, she called over another nail tech to which they just signalled she needed to file more- which she did. She moves on with other fingers. I look at it again and it is way worse, I say to her that it looks really bad it is completely crooked to which she responds it’s your fingernail, it’s crooked (I was shocked to say the least). She then persisted to say that she will fix it but adding in acrylic to fill in the crooked nail- which he did. Then proceeds to tell me she won’t be able to file much as it’s fragile! This meant that my two thumbs looked completely different. I said to her they look totally different. She snapped at me saying ‘what’s different about them’, ‘they are the same’ and started to get annoyed with me which made me feel really embarrassed. Although I appreciate the store reaching out to me to right their wrongs, it was a totally unprofessional experience and offering for me to come back in for them to 'fix' my nails they knew were bad when I left is just absurd - they were $100, and they are completely amateur. I would like a full refund because they are terrible. I wasn't going to write a review but over the night I have broken out in a Itchy red rash around all my fingernails, which has made my fingers sore and red (images attached). I regret going here and won't be returning, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the service. One of the ladies was really lovely but the lady who did my nails was completely miserable and just horrible to deal with, to put a nail on crooked and to blame everything else but take the blame is crazy - she even said that it was my finger nail was crooked - just insane. I have attached photos of my two thumbs which are completely different shapes, my fingers showing the inflamed rash & the back of my thumb nail that she filled in with acrylic & 'couldn't file'. To sum up, i think your experience is totally dependent on who your nail tech is. I managed to get someone who was really horrible and paid the price. Save your money & go anywhere else.
