Good austrian food.
We ordered the beef tartar as an appetizer, in addition to the two weekly menu items, both contained Wiener Schnitzel, as well as a Bauernpfanne. Dessert was Kaiserschmarrn.
Total costs were 103 bucks.

Overally very tasty and worth the cost.

We booked on OpenTable and when we got there they said sadly they had no table. They were amused at our predicament. What an unbelievable place - do not book and expect a table.

The best Austrian restaurant in Frankfurt. Everything was delicious and prices are reasonable. It is really busy. I recommend you to make a reservation in advance. The two dishes that must be tried are Wiener schnitzel and kaiserschmarrn.

The schnitzel was excellent. Very crispy on the outside. Meat is tender and well-seasoned on the inside. The potatoes underneath were so delicious! Soft, slightly peppery and greatly balanced with vinegar. We were very happy with our meal.

I would have given this 5-star rating but the service we received was dissatisfactory. Host/server was at the door, he saw us at the door but didn’t even greet us. When I asked for a table, he replied with an off-putting attitude and said the restaurant’s full. There were 2 cable car dining tables outside. Only when I asked if those belonged to the restaurant then, he offered us the available table.

Very tasteful dishes, especial the Wiener Schnitzel!! You should try it. The service was excellent and they speak English!!
Also nice atmosphere, a restaurant you should visit in Frankfurt.

When we arrived there was no availability but the owner seated us on the bar, served us beer and started chatting with us. Beautiful place and great atmosphere, best Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarnn we've tried in Frankfurt!

Stuffs are nice and foods are delicious especially the soup!

Schnitzel was same with the one that I’ve tasted in Vienna (made by veal not pork).. also we‘ve order Käse speziell. Both of them were very delicious. Atmosphere was like chill&cheat with friends. Service was quick and the people are very friendly ♥️

I have visited Edelweiss annually during the Book Fair and always enjoyed it but this week the special fall chanterelle menu was amazing, best Edelweiss meal yet! Looking forward to next year.

This was a fantastic place to eat in Frankfurt. The choice on the menu was excellent, and all the food we ordered was just wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the waiter in the Lederhosen and the girl behind the bar provided very attentive service.

We were totally satisfied with everything we ordered, both main dishes and desserts were super tasty. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

they serve the best Schnitzel in town.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're warmly greeted by a friendly staff and an a great atmosphere.

But it's the food that really steals the show at Salzkammmer. The Schnitzel is cooked to perfection, with a golden brown crispiness that's both satisfying and delicious. The portions are generous, and each plate is served with a selection of sides - small Schnitzel on the photo 👍

Overall, I couldn't recommend Salzkammer more highly. If you're looking for a cozy, inviting spot to enjoy the best Schnitzel around, this is the place to go.

Solid Austrian food at Frankfurt city center. Good lunch menu options at a still fair price. Service was quick and friendly, food tasty and of good quality. My +1 liked her Bauernpfanne including a side salad, she found the portion a little bit too much though. Maybe, I would have preferred my potato salad next and not under my Viennese Schnitzel. The underside of my Schnitzel was a little bit soaked with salad sauce. Luckily, I got the Schnitzel off the salad fast enough. As already mentioned, a really good lunch and basically a meal for the day. Going there for lunch is also an option to avoid long before reservations. We tried two times spontaneously in the evening but couldn’t get a table for two. Calling on a Tuesday for a reservation any time on Thursday or Friday same week was also not successful. It speaks for itself, a popular spot.

The food and the service were really good. It’s nice to be able to sit outside at the terrace in summer. Highly recommended!
