Proper stunning walk this , really nice areas with the odd bench
Plenty of car parking spaces. My Dog enjoys the strole from the car park, down the hill, across the football fields, over the brook and back on to the path. Follow the path round to the river past the iron bridge and follow the river upstream back to the car park. Beautiful to do this walk in all seasons noting the changes in the trees and river flow. Childrens paly area near the car park.

Lovely space for a short walk
We came here for the first time yesterday and it was really good for the kids, Easter egg hunt and crafts to do. Cafe Prices were good also and great customer service from all staff. Will probably visit again throughout the holidays.
Great space to walk the dogs, very muddy so go prepared! The little beach by the river is perfect for the pooches, lots if different paths and ample parking
Nice grounds for walking, cafe nice but expensive prices.
Our grandchildren love it here it's about a 20 min drive from us . We bought duck food from the cafe and walked down to the weir. It's a lovely walk . They always want a picnic there. Then walked back by the water , then they had hot chocolate with all the trimmings.
Picturesque scenes, cafe open only last Sundays of each month.
Great country park. The path around is accessible in most places. We had a baby buggy with us and it’s easy enough to get around. There are muddy spots but you can keep to a quiet road and avoid them. Stunning weir part way round. Lots of wildlife to see too.
I love this park! Took my toddler along and we fed the ducks and the geese!
The cafe’s really nice too
Lovely little walk round.be beautiful in summer too.. cafe prices r a bit steep for ice creams.. ect.. but lovely if Ur planning a pic nic..(dog friendly) xxx
Great place for a decent sized walk with kids and can explore the forests on the sides of the lake.

There’s a good size car park which you need to pay for, and a cafe and toilets at the entrance. There’s some toilets further up the walk too.

Plenty of benches dotted around on the paths and some picnic benches further up towards the weir.

Near the car park there’s a pond with ducks and occasionally some model boats which are great for kids to watch.

It can be fairly muddy in some places due to recent rainfall so recommend wellies or walking boots.

Dogs are allowed but recommend keeping in a leash due to large numbers of ducks and geese.
Cheap parking and cafe and toilets, with a beautiful setting of a lake and waterfall, perfect way to spend a couple of hours with the family.
What a magical experience.
From when you walk in, starting with the elf workshop where you build a stuff animal, then onto the pole office wirh a short stop at the elf sweet shop.
Then onto the Mrs Claus kitchen where the children decorated a ginger bread, seen the robotic reindeer that sing and finally onto santa coming down the chimney and getting a gift.

It was amazing and well priced.
The staff were brilliant.
Lovely magical experience for everyone especially the little ones. I think it’s well worth the money, they get to make their own soft toy to take home, sweets from the shop, decorate a gingerbread man and a present from Santa. I took my 3 year old Granddaughter who was a bit overwhelmed at times and a little reluctant to join in at first but the kindness and patience of all Santa’s helpers meant she was very brave and got to see him in the end and get her present so I would like to say a big thank you to all of them for that.
We came this evening with 9 children from the ages of 11 months old to 12 years old and each and everyone of them thoroughly enjoyed it. The work that has gone in To make the experience special is so obvious and appreciated. Thank you for going the extra mile; this was truly the best Santa experience we have had. The team all work so hard to make it magical and they are a credit to the farm. Thank you
Took our 16 month old girl to meet Santa and it was a really lovely place to visit. Elves , Grinch , Mrs clause and the big man himself . Really professionally done . All very impressed . Definitely booking for next year
It was a lovley and magical experience from start to finish all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the only thing I would say is it dose get quite busy inside and your in smaller spaces with lots of things going on at the same time which was a struggle for my son who has autism maybe doing a smaller group for children with additional needs might be a good idea next year and actually releasing those tickets at the same time as the main tickets because I'd have gone for the sen tickets but they were not available untill later on and we had booked already but overall it was a really wonderful experience
We’ve visited yesterday (2 adults, 2 children) and it was magical! The whole experience from meeting the Grinch in the car park to the elves, Mrs claus and Father Christmas was amazing. My children said this has been the best experience they’ve ever had. We will be back
Lovely place for a relaxing walk with the family. We'll worth a few hours here, kids will love feeding the ducks.
Perfect for the little ones!
We took our 10 month old who loved the friendly animals, huge play park, soft play area and the bumpy tractor ride! Great for burning off energy and the ice cream is great too. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We spent 3 hours at the farm but with slightly older kids, you could make a real day of it. There was plenty of seating for a picnic and the play park is huge. We arrived for 11am which was great because it was still really quiet; it did start to get busier by the afternoon but the farm is large enough to accommodate. We will definitely be back in the future, thanks Reddish Vale!
A beautiful place to visit with lovely vistas. There's great scenery and wildlife tottering around. But it's not the easiest place to get to with access being down a really bad road (sure the Romans wouldn't have put up with this!). Once there, it is nice but not actually that much to do with kids. Take your sat nav directions with a pinch of salt!
Lovely walks in picturesque surroundings, plenty of birds including geese, swans and even a line peacock. Nice little cafe on site. Parking can be difficult in busy periods
