A nice plaza to visit, lots of shops and restaurants, there are a fair amount of parking garages, but a lot of them close early, I would recommend Uber.
We stumbled upon this incredible find while walking in the French District.
Extraordinary art on the top floor. The Lilith & Adam painting is a must-see.
Beautiful outside garden setting to sip a delicious Malbec and breathe. They even project old silent films onto a wall in the evenings. Fun architecture of it being an old colonial home.

Will always be my fav place in SJ downtown just sit down and read a book is nice there on certain hours, also you have the Theater Cafeteria as an option;)
Nothing special. There are so many people. However it can be quiet while you walk and you can find yourself a lot of people trying to sell something however they do it because they want to live. You may find some poverty but it’s a normal thing here. This place didn’t send me anything
The Plaza exists because the Bank of Costa Rica decided not to build a structure that would block the beautiful Opera House. This is a lovely open public space.
Nice place to ride on a bike, walk and be with kids.
Was the old airport but now an amazing park. Lots of activities and a museum and much more to see
This history in this building is both uplifting and heartbreaking. I feel like a better person knowing it and visiting this vestido building had a great trip even better.
Beautiful, peaceful, our tour guide compared it to Central Park.
Very nice Park for a walk.. recommend to try one of the food stands and beware of pickpockets !!
Hermoso parque, pulmón de San José.
Oasis de verdure près du parlement, bien fréquentée, un ATM (BCR, colones seulement) à côté. Nombreux oiseaux, bancs, ombre.

This is a very nice place to go with family, friends, loved ones, and everyone in between! Entrance is free, and it is pet friendly - you're only encouraged to be careful with their behavior and dispose of their waste.

Area is surrounded by shops eateries and hotels. It is a main area or tourist to explore San Jose and get a feel of the culture of the Costa Ricans. The have two main walking areas one north a block from central street and one south a block from central. Along each roadway is lots of stores and markets to wander area.
A perdu sa superbe, encore quelques beaux spécimens mais il faudrait les mettre en valeur avec de nouvelles plantations

Les marques indiquant le nom des arbres sont délavées et ont besoin d'être refaites avant de disparaître totalement. Cela a besoin d'être fait rapidement.
