Surprisingly nice walk through this promenade. Quiet in terms of foot traffic, though you may get actual noise from the road below.

We stumbled upon it as we were walking through the piers below the promenade and thought it was some small park. One of the city workers looking after the gardens by the piers was nice enough to explain the quickest way to get up to the promenade and off we went.

It's worth a stop if you're in the area.

I had the incredible opportunity to witness the Brooklyn Bridge at night from the Empire Fulton Ferry, and it left me absolutely awestruck. The sight of the bridge, adorned with countless sparkling lights against the backdrop of the night sky, was nothing short of magical. It's a moment that etches itself into your memory, a testament to the timeless beauty of this iconic structure. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend experiencing this breathtaking view for yourself.

Lived down the street from here from 2018-2021. This was one of my favorite places to do walks at night, picnics in the day time until sunset, and would also do some photography shoots here. Great location. Calm and very beautiful. You have a great view of Manhattan. During COVID this was my peace location.

Perfect place to spend time, amazing views of NYC downtown, Brooklyn bridge and Statue of Liberty from the distance. Overall a great place. It's in close proximity once you cross Brooklyn bridge. There is a water taxi available and costs you$ 4 if you want to head back to Wall Street.

It was a refreshing place to relax and enjoy the views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. There are plenty of benches and grassy areas to sit on, as well as a playground and a carousel for kids. The park is also pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along for the day.

Overall, I would highly recommend Empire Fulton Ferry Park to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic spot to spend some time in Brooklyn. It's a great place to people-watch, read a book, or just enjoy the fresh air.
