The least eco-friendly experience: they don't sell replacement parts for their products. That means, if a little piece of one of their products gets broken or torn out after some years of use, they expect you to throw it away and buy a new one. Say for example, the plastic tips of a Lattenrost. They only SELL these replacement parts within the 2-year warranty. What kind of warranty would that be if they sell it? And WHY don't they sell it after the warranty period? ?????
When I replied to their email about not selling replacement parts saying it was the least eco-friendly most unsustainable practice they just replied the following: "we are sorry to say that we already replied to this email and have nothing new to say". SHAMEFUL. Try to buy at a FAIR shop instead of here.
And to the people of Dänisches Bettenlager: you might want to catch up with the world and start trying to create sustainability and long-lasting products which the clients can repair over the years instead of being just plain dinosaur greedy.

I only take time to write good reviews when I purchase a good product or when I encounter a pleasant and professional employee. I also never write bad reviews because I believe that a person can have a bad day. Who doesn't?
What I experienced today with the Dänisches Bettenlager store manager in Berlin - Mitte, was beyond someone having a bad day. Yesterday I purchased all bedding needs for my guest room from this store including a 99.95 euro "unpackaged" comforter, and I had excellent service and assistance from one of the store employees. When I returned home I realised the comforter was too small for the guest bed. I took it back to the store today and the manager told me that it is my fault for choosing the wrong size comforter, he cannot return it for hygiene reasons, and that is the store policy, which I could understand. I tried to explain to him that I had the comforter for less than 24 hours and it's never been used. He wouldn't listen, he offers to exchange it for a bigger one and the difference would be another 100 euros, either that or I can leave the store. So, what happened to the hygiene reasons?!?!?
This man was unprofessional, nasty and disrespectful to a returning customer. I thought managers were supposed to lead their employees by example. NOT THIS GUY!
