Came here after watching Amy Winehouse's movie and have to say it was a great discovery. This place is unique, they play old rock and they have music events every now and then. They also have a couple of photos with Amy 💕
Stopped on our london pub crawl with old work colleagues. Great service, and it's nice to sit and chat. Loads of history from local bands etc great atmosphere.
Great place, very friendly , it's a metal/rock establishment that in my experience excepts everyone as its about having a good time
Insanely loud for neighbours on Gloucester Crescent. During COVID there were light boxes installed on the rear roof of the pub. This immediately caused a huge increase in noise pollution. It’s impossible to sleep in our bedrooms until the music stops at 2am. We now sleep in our living room. Please owner manager put your music on full

Picture is view from our house which is directly opposite the rear of the castle. It’s not a question of stating 44 years of service to live music, we have late license, we try to be great. The noise pollution changed for the worse after you put those new boxes on your roof. It needs to be looked into. We love live music and respect the late license

It's a disgusting, worthless environment. I've been to many nightclubs around the world. By far the worst. The place is stuffy and stuffy. Music is bad (sound system not quality) entrance is unnecessarily expensive. You have to buy tickets online. Very rude security as a tourist. Full of people between 18-21 years old. Definitely don't go. It's a waste of your money.
Horrible place. Horrible staff. If I could give negative stars, I would. Waste of money and time. The security team is so high on their power trip I wonder how they didn’t fall yet. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do when you hate your job I guess! :) Gotta entertain yourself somehow! Being rude, aggressive, patronizing, disgusting and plain horrible can be fun when there’s nothing else going on for you :)
WORST WORST WORST club in London. Security staff is rude unnecessarily. I booked for myself and they said one person cannot be allowed. You should have mentioned people while they book their tickets. When I approached one of the security staff in polite way while they were gossiping, other one (big bearded guy) behaved rudest.

Really cool club for an intimate show. Staff were great, the sound was excellent, and the beers were cold! A+
Zum „Pink Martini“-Konzert besucht. Die beste Konzerthalle die ich jemals erlebt habe! Sicht und Akustik sind optimal. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach wundervoll .
Great gig venue pub, iconic mainstay of Camden highstreet. Staff were nice and the vibe was good. Venue room was a tad musty and the loos needed some attention but all in all a good old rough and ready place.
The vibes were off. Bartender was rude, we were very polite many pleases and thank yous. Definitely pick and choose who they want in the pub based on the day even if you are a regular...
As late night places go this was pretty good. Pleasant door and bar staff, nice vibe, good beer choice and all felt safe. Opens late when everything else more or less shuts around here by midnight midweek so a good call if you need to 'carry on' !
Bei einem Kurztrip nach London wollten wir die Royal Albert Hall besichtigen. Anstatt das Geld für eine Führung auszugeben, kauften wir die günstigsten Tickets für ein Konzert. Wir haben es nicht bereut, auch wenn die Plätze im oberen Rang für die Beine recht eng sind.Es ist ratsam die Jacken dort oben mitzunehmen, denn es zieht von der Lüftung ein frischer Windzug. ABER: es war absolut lohnenswert, ein fantastischer Blick ins Rund und auf den Chor und das halbe Orchester, auch die Szenen auf der Leinwand konnten wir trotz der seitlichen Plätze sehen. Auch das Personal war freundlich und es lohnt sich ein Gang auf den unterschiedlichen Rängen mit Blick in die Hall. Ein absolutes Highlight auf unserem London Trip.Dafür 5 Sterne!
One of the last good remaining (subcultural) Pubs in camden. On my last visit they've played punk rock and hc classics all the time. The staff was friendly and I can't wait to go there on my next trip to London again.

were exceptional!! absolutely fantastic in helping us (as my wife uses a stick as a walking aid). A most enjoyable evening.

Our team hosted a concert at this venue recently, and what a disaster it turned out to be! Not only did they fail to pay the artist who headlined the show, but they also displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and decency in their dealings with our team.
Despite performing his heart out and bringing in a crowd, this venue has the audacity to withhold payment from the artist for over two months! And when the artist rightfully inquired about his payment, instead of providing a reasonable explanation, they resorted to cursing at him in emails. Even though their venue bookings manager Jon admitted himself in a previous email that their process was "a bit weird" he then proceeds to curse at the artist for having questions confused about the weird process used for payouts....
As if that wasn't enough, the level of unprofessionalism reached new heights when they decided to ban the artist from future performances, all while conveniently ignoring their obligation to compensate him for his hard work.
It's clear that this venue prioritizes their own greed and their pride, over the well-being and fair treatment of the artists who perform there. I urge anyone considering attending events at this venue to think twice and support establishments that respect and value the artists they host. And if you are an event organizer look elsewhere , there are a ton of other great venues in London. Just because the underworld has history, it may not be ran by the best people. Don't support it.

Wir waren zu einem Ellie Goulding Konzert in der Royal Albert Hall und es war wirklich royal was uns dort geboten wurde. Angefangen von der eigenen Loge bis hin zum Dinnerservice in der Loge. Das Konzert war der Hammer weil die Akustik in dieser Hall nicht zu vergleichen ist mit einer normalen Konzerthalle. Ich fühlte mich wohl und gut aufgehoben und der Service war 1.Klasse genau wie die Frau die auf der Bühne stand. Danke wir werden wiederkommen.
The DJ plays really good tunes however this is a very touristy spot. 99% of the people in there were from abroad holidaying in London.
A very cute place with generally good value for money. The pesto linguine was okay, but the other dishes, like risotto were delicious. Very good service. Very cute venue, but playing rap music at a French/Italian restaurant is a bit off ..
Fantastic find. Really good atmosphere and very busy. The band we saw was excellent and it was easy to get drinks before, during and after the band. There's a balcony area where you can stand which was perfect for a short person like me.
Attended the Technimatic evening (4pm to 10pm) and had an absolute blast.

We drank cans of cider which were £5 each, and honestly, I was happy paying that. Given its central London and drink prices are wild these days, I thought that was fair.

Was in town over Easter weekend and came here for some pints. It was just across the street from where we were staying so it was very convenient. We walked over on Friday evening and seen they were having a Country/ Reggae night and it was an awesome time. Service was excellent, met some fine people and stayed til closing time. Would definitely recommend.
Unfortunately like multiple other reviews had a similar experience at the door with security. Despite having been our first stop of the night and having not been drinking, one of our group was accused of being drunk, when calmly explaining this wasn't the case the security guard repeatedly demanded he was drunk and wouldn't let us in until we admitted it?! .. we gave up and said OK just to be let in? Power trip..

Went to see Ricky and friends. Easy to find from Leicester Square. Nice venue with right size of room.
Friendly staff in the ticket desk. There were 3 bar options. Toilets were extremely tiny.

Good venue with some nice live music from time to time - karaoke other times. Can get crowded and the beer selection is mediocre.
Been here a few times and seen gradual improvements. The queuing outside is better organised, and the door staff less in your face. Once you’re in, it’s an excellent venue - good sight lines throughout, with excellent guests. The bars in the main venue stop serving during the acts, which I think is great. But also - the main bar downstairs does pints, while the stage-side bars only serve cans - one to watch for!
This was a gig venue a basement room not very accesible as far as I saw but check for yourself if you have accessibility requirements. Otherwise it was clean even the toilets the bar staff helpful and pleasant
Love this venue. Keep going back, and will keep on again. Bar could be quicker (usually only have 5 mins to get seated) but they’re all always so lovely it’s hard to care! Love the place
Great little restaurant, really intimate feel. Decoration is fabulous and the food was very tasteful. Staff friendly and attentive. You really forget your on one of the busiest streets. Try the French onion soup.

This is the best music venue in Camden if you want to just blast it. It's situated in the heart of Camden, beneath the infamous Worlds End Pub.
The door staff are highly professional, polite and very accommodating.
The venue stays open until 3am on a Saturday night. The final playlist was stella, see the photo attached. Closing out the night with the Prodigy, Rage Against the Machine, Blur, The Smiths, Nirvana etc.
The crowd were spot on and what you would expect to find in an alternative night club. We ended up chatting outside after close for about an hour with a group of randoms. #onlyincamden
Would definitely visit again.

We came along on a Sunday afternoon with an easy to book, on the day Groupon. One of the best Groupon deals we have ever used. Remarkable value. We both had a lovely glass of wine (well, two each actually!) and a main meal each. Our dishes were 1, a warm chicken salad which was delicious and had lots of chicken! and 2, a very tasty French Carbonara that had lots of cheese sauce and lardons. Two very substantial and delicious meals. Photos below
On top of that, the service was super friendly and there was some lovely background music.

A proper friendly community pub I discovered by chance close to Paddington Station. Nice beer (Atlantic Pale ale, plus other Sharps options, Munich Paulaner). Friendly, helpful bar staff. Both times I've been they were playing Reggae and Ska type music on some decks (which gets a thumbs up from me). Will definitely be returning. Didn't eat so can't comment on food.
The food here was amazing and the service was good too.
My salmon with the vegetables was really nice.
As usual we ordered quite a lot and we managed to finish everything since it was soo good.

Awful experience! Security staff at the entrance were unnecessarily rude and aggressive. £25 entry at the door (£20 if you pay cash). £28 for 4 tequila shots in half size plastic shot cups. £9 for a tiny vodka with redbull which was mostly ice. £3 per item for cloakroom and they make you enter your phone number. Honestly wouldn’t even go again if it was free.

Very nice local pub around Paddington area. Barman was really nice and helped me about football streaming on TV at 3pm, which no other barmens from different pubs did.

Went to see stand up on Saturday night. Easy to find from Leicester Square. We had a really great night. Fantastic venue - not too small , but not massive either. Great vibes and atmosphere. Would def return.
There are much better clubs in London. Some of the staff were nice but most not really.
Pay £5-10 more on other clubs and it's more likely that you will enjoy your night out

Great rock pub with excellent prices for the area at £5.50 for an Amstel and £4.50 for a medium house red. Good heavy metal soundtrack.
If you like your heavier music and drinking, look no further! This is one of the best rock /metal pubs I've ever been to. I've only just discovered this place but will 100% be coming back 🤘
We decided to go to this restaurant for its quiet and calming atmosphere, which we were delightfully pleased by the quick service & tasty food. Fawas, the manager, is very kind & keeps the restaurant in great condition.
We had the steak frites special with a glass of wine , grilled goat cheese salad & french onion soup. Finished this meal off with crème brûlée & some espresso. Highly recommended!!

We loved this restaurant, it's in a great location, the food is very high quality and it's great for couples on a date, friends getting together etc. A special mention to Favas, the manager of this restaurant, he was very patient and we all loved him, he deserves 5 stars!
Cool posters, but you will barely listen rock music. More like a metal bar with full of metalheads. Mostly old men are vibing so it was not my thing.
Great music pub. There is cover charge for the music, but only for the music scene at the back. I watched an assortment of unknown indie bands. I had three pints of the very ordinary Heineken beer at £6.30 (pubs are closing at an alarming rate, the very high beer prices probably has a lot to do with it). Toilets were extremely dirty and smelly.

We are so happy we came across charming little place. Everything was just perfect, the décor, the service and the food. We ordered the French onion soup (which for the first time I've ever ordered it - suitable for vegetarians - most French onion soups have beef stock in the US). Then we ordered the caramelize onion and brie tartlets and lastly we ordered the Moules Marinieres - which was mussels in wine sauce, plus a side of spinach mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious and wonderful! We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Eines der schönsten Konzerthäuser in denen ich je war. Die Atmosphäre und der Sound sind einmalig. Man kann von überall aus gut sehen. Personal ist auch sehr freundlich.
Beeindruckende Location für alle Arten von Konzerten und Aufführungen. Als Coburger bin ich natürlich umso mehr am Gebäude und dessen Geschichte interessiert. Immer wieder gerne!
Absolutely stunning. The food was gorgeous. Had the mushroom bourguignon which was delicious followed by crème brûlée which was perfect. The service was also excellent (and very funny!). Will definitely be going back.
Lovely place with a great atmosphere, good selection of beers and great music - both on the Jukebox and live bands. Yes, it's a bit pricey compared to other pubs that have bands playing but all in all a good night out.

They have seating on the ground floor and in the basement. Basement looks a bit dingy but ground floor was good. Seats are a little cranked. The food however, more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered tasted fantastic. The lamb shank did have some rough bits, but overall tasted great. The beef bourginon was so tender and delicious. Also enjoyed their seafood linguine that I had requested to be cooked in rose sauce instead of white cream sauce. Service is attentive and efficient to the point where you feel rushed into ordering, eating, and leaving. They also refused to let us sit at a table next to the window saying that it's reserved by someone, however we ate and left after 1.5 hours and no one showed up to claim it.

Das Essen war schmackhaft, aber das gewisse i-Tüpfelchen hat mir persönlich noch gefehlt. Sowohl beim Ambiente, als auch beim Service kann ich nichts aussetzen.
Sehr lebendiges Restaurant mit sehr gutem, sehr schmackhaften Essen, das Baklava als Dessert hat uns besonders gut geschmeckt. Es ist nicht so in Honig ertränkt, sondern mit ganz viel Pistazie.
Très bon Château Briand parfaite cuisson. Ambiance feutrée. Evitez de s'asseoir côté véranda car il y a des odeurs de cigare qui provienne du 1er étage.
Excellent restaurant écossais près de la hare de Voctoria. J’y ai mangé un de meilleur burger de ma vie. Mon compagnon a pu goûté le traditionnel « haggis ». Nous avons tous les deux passé une excellente soirée.

Bonne atmosphere. Chaque soir il y a un groupe de musiciens qui chante en live des morceaux de musique des années 80/90. Nourriture convenable sans ambition. Par contre le prix des vins pratiqué dans ce genre d'établissement sont très cher.
Tolles türkisches Restaurant mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zuvorkommende und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Derzeit kann man auch (noch) spontan hingehen. Sehr zu empfehlen!
Très beau pub avec de plusieurs salles, cours ou terrasse pourboire 1 verre ou manger. Des concerts de jazz s y passent mais je n y ai pas assisté
