Great little pub serving really interesting burgers (the veggie pb+k was delicious with a little peanut butter and kimchi to pack in lots of flavor)

The atmosphere was good, but the toilets were cramped and not great in all honesty, some people who I thought were fellow party goers in the beer garden area, with drinks and vapes turned out to be 2 members of staff. Service was bit too casual from these 2.
Beer garden was good, really well decorated and set up, nice heaters to on the walls to keep you warm and games in the corner in a glass cupboard.

Lovely cocktails, decent music and delicious food. I wasn’t sure what to have and the waiter suggested the pork shoulder shish (one of the options I mentioned). It was a great suggestion, super tasty.
Very noisy pub on a weekend night. Different sport TVs all over the place with the sound on and you cannot listen to the person in front of you and maintain a conversation.
We're quite local and this place has become our new place to meet up. It has a good selection of beers and you can watch the sports on big sofas from the multiple screens in the lovely pub garden. Not only that, the landlord James is an absolute gem. He's always down for a chat and we've not a bad thing to say about him.
We're happy we have found this place and we're always eager to return.

I have attended to some of the events that Bambalan offers , from a kids rave( my little one loved it ) private parties to successful summer sessions. The rooftop setting provides views of the city, adding to the overall charm.The menu boasts an array of tasty dishes, expertly crafted cocktails, and attentive service :)

We went 6ish and sat on roof top bar. Group of 10. Music was awful and tried to speak with DJ who was very unwelcoming and rude, refused requests (didn't mention his music was killing the atmosphere). Bar staff more interested in chatting to each other than serving. After looking forward to going it was a huge disappointment. Won't rush back but would possibly give a second chance. Such a shame.
An interesting little pub situated between an industrial estate and housing, close to Temple Meads train station. Friendly staff and good selection of beers and ciders.
I didn't have food, but the burgers looked delicious and were very popular.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quick bite to eat and want to try some local brews.

I had a good ale but not many choises. This pub is perfect for watching football. It is a two story pub having many screens and a large space.
Booked for Sunday lunch last minute after another restaurant cancelled our reservation. Extremely happy we stumbled across this little gem. The food was exactly what we needed after a big night (very reasonable price too) and the staff were funny, delightful and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
The sooner this place shuts down the better. Staff makes you feel like they're doing you a favour by letting you give them your money. Managers arent much better.

Came here today for lunch and a couple of beers. Delicious burgers, excellent beer. Really friendly barman. Very good pub worth seeking out.

A proper pub, no airs and graces, good beer selection and great menu. The pub food was absolutely wonderful! Only visiting the area otherwise I'd be a regular!
The team here were amazing! We celebrated 3 birthdays here with a table of about 21/22 of us and they really made us feel welcomed. The food was timely, correct and tasted great! The prices were definitely fair for the service also! They couldn't do any more for us even if they tried! 10/10!! Especially the guy with the curly hair and glasses! Made us feel welcomed and even gave us a couple of free baby guiness !!
The staff were great, attentive and friendly and there was a good vibe on the roof bar, unfortunately that’s where it stops. We went for food which was mediocre, frozen rubbish. The pizzas friends had were probably the only thing worth getting. Cocktails were 2 for £15, for a reason they were premade chemical cheap and nasty and undrinkable, we had to send them back. We left after an hour to go somewhere else. Lots of potential with this place, shame food and drinks are lacking.
Always love to visit our local. The garden out back with its little secret is definitely something a bit different in a pub.
Had a great Sunday roast here! Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Kids roast is maybe a bit too fancy for small kids palate.

We came today for mothers day, this was my first time here and I have to say the roast dinner was absolutely fantastic! We had great service the atmosphere was just right, cosy pub with great little garden out back,

One of the nicest pubs an lovely bar staff. Have been here couple times on my own or with friends, great selection of drinks and sometimes we would come here for quiz’s evenings. Also I had lost my phone and my phone was handed in in this pub and they were so lovely to keep my phone safe till I came back and collected it. Thank you so much for that. Definitely recommend to come and visit this cosy pub.

Great quality roast dinner! Really recommend - the quality of the meat was great and it was all well cooked. Chicken was moist, beef was flavourful and juicy, pork was beautifully seasoned and juicy. The only small thing I'd say would be I'd prefer just slightly larger portions but the quality was so good that it's still a 5 star roast.

Great pub, nice pint. Popped in for a game of pool. Only 50p a game which is bloody cheap. Not the greatest of tables but worth it. Was quiet but also the locals were very friendly. Would definitely go again...

Always a good atmosphere and service is good. I haven't eaten at the pub but heard the Sunday dinners are great
One of the best off the cuff pub meals I've had for a while. We ordered the chicken wings (skinny but tasty), calamari (garlic sauce was amazing) chicken dirty frys... yummy and the corn on the cob which wad presented well and tasted amazing.. booze also good and cheap.. 2 rounds and and dinner... bargain
Really good pub. Plenty of spaces for group gathering without disturbing others. I had tandoori chicken, salad and drink. Delicious food and friendly staff tempting me to visit again.
Tolles englisches Pub! Tolles essen. Sundayroast. Waren 17 Personen. Das essen hat leider ewig gedauert. Lag wohl an der Anzahl der Gäste. Bedienung sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam. Hauseigenes IPA lecker aber wenig Kohlensäure.
