Top of The Rock is still a reasonably popular observation deck, with two open air levels and seemingly not too busy to get to, at least on a weekday.
We visited in the middle of the day Friday and didn't have to wait more than maybe 5min to get tickets using our pass and that was it, straight up after that more or less.
The views are nice, although the new skyscrapers to the north block the view of Central Park, so only parts of it are visible.
Worth a visit if you have time to spare and are in the area as you can also look at the Cathedral nearby and Rockefeller building itself.

The Edge is nothing short of spectacular. This beats the Rockefeller Observatory by a MILE. The views were amazing spanning from every side of NYC. There was also a beautiful part of the outdoor deck which was see through glass looking down 100 floors. The experience you receive before you even get to the top is amazing. It showed very informative information and great animations on the walls. I would recommend this to everyone as the price was very cheap at $45.
Miejsce jako taras widokowy jest rewelacyjne. Można zobaczyć panoramę miasta zarówno z za szyby jak i z otwartego tarasu. My wybraliśmy wjechanie w środku dnia (14.30), ale można też po zmroku. Z jednej strony ustawione było rusztowanie, które częściowo zasłaniało widok na Central Park, ale wszytko w granicach normy.
Za to organizacyjnie to nie wygląda dobrze. Same fakty. Wejść można o dokładnie określonej godzinie, następnie czeka się na windę (a jest jedna), która zabiera z 12-14 osób - my czekaliśmy 20-25min. Wjazd to już szybciutko. Wracając czekaliśmy w kolejce 35minut (jedna winda).
W porównaniu do Empire State Building to organizacja zawodzi.

Amazing view, but just 2 corners to take pictures that are usually long line to take a picture 📸 but I liked the place. It would be nice if they had tables or chairs to sit and wait for family members or friends sell affordable drinks 🍸 and water 💧 that will be a good 👍 addition to the place.
This place is just amazing. 360 degree views. People were awesome. 100% will go back. The express pass is the only way to go!! Straight to the 69th floor no waiting in the huge lines. Cost double but worth every penny of it.
Visiting New York's Edge was an unforgettable experience. The panoramic views of the city from the observation deck were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The glass floor sections added an extra thrill, making it feel like you were floating above the city. Gorgeous views. It is a bit of a pricey experience, but 100% worth it! We visited toward the start of the day and didn't have much of a wait at all. Security was very smooth and the 360 view was just stunning. There are a couple of different levels so that you can easily get that perfect shot without anyone else in your picture. Definitely would reccomend it!

Great views from the observation floor. The elevator ride is quick and has a cool video. The people were kind when getting tickets and when checking tickets to let you up. The observation floor was cool with some great information. Probably our favorite of the New York observatories.
First visit to US and definitely had to visit NY and watch the city from the top. We were so split between One World Observatory vs the Empire State Building. We decided to go ahead with OWO and ended up spending 4 hours, just enjoying the awesome view which kept changing with every change in shade, light. Amazing 4 hours spent.
P.S: Try reaching by 5 so that you can enjoy all 3 views- daylight, sun set and then enjoy the night sky with city lights coming on

Of course you can’t talk about this spectacular pc of modern infrastructure without why its was initially erected. I loved every second of the observatory! The views were immaculate! I would visit again. It’s the tallest southern most building in the whole of Manhattan it’s not the best view but it definitely has a special vantage point to the Hudson/New Jersey/State of liberty/Manhattan and also Brooklyn bridge.
This is one of the coolest most exciting experiences you can do in New York City. The view is incredible. The elevator ride up is incredible. Everything is incredible is also not too expensive it is only like $45 for adults $30 for children. I would highly recommend going. here there is also a restaurant and a gift shop.
We purchased the All-Inclusive tickets and they were great! They allowed for us to spend a $15 voucher in their shops, there wasn't much in the Gift Shop that really struck out to me though. The views were amazing, by far the best I've seen compared to the other buildings I've been up!
Świetne miejsce. Zamiast burzyć stare wiadukty kolejowe po prostu posadzono drzewa i kwiaty.
Amazing experience! Would recommend going an hour before sunset so you can get the views of NYC with and without the sun. Probably the best viewing observatory in NYC so it is a do-not-miss opportunity for any tourists who are visiting! The elevator ride up, the lead in to the observatory and the actual views themselves are all absolutely phenomenal! Plan to spend ~2 hours up here if you have the time.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting One World Observatory, located on the 100th floor of the One World Trade Center, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The panoramic view of New York City from that height is simply breathtaking.
One of the standout features of my visit was the video presentation and historical overview that played inside the elevator as we ascended. It was a fantastic way to learn about the significance of the building and its place in the city's history. Although the elevator get quite crowded, would be nice if purchasing the upgrade tickets allowed me to enjoy the presentation to its fullest.
Once I reached the observation deck, the view was absolutely mesmerizing. The sprawling skyline, iconic landmarks, and the Hudson River flowing in the distance created an awe-inspiring scene. The observatory offers 360-degree views, allowing you to see the city from every angle.

Wow, wat een gave locatie. Zeker als het donker word en je de tegenovergestelde richting op loopt. Dus de metro nemen naar de overkant en dan al wandelend Manhattan als skyline zien….
È il più famoso ponte che collega Manhattan a Brooklyn. Sopra la sede stradale corre una larga passerella pedonale. È un’esperienza da non perdere la camminata da Manhattan a Brooklyn.
Manzara harika. Çok güzel fotoğraf kareleri yakalanıyor. Sabah erken saatlerde gidin. Ben saat 10’da ordaydım ve kimsecikler yoktu. Tabi biraz havada kötüydü ama inanılmaz zevkliydi.
