All was well. Botb curry dishes were coconut based, like a Thai curry (tasted fine). I wish they had a darker Japanese curry.

Ramen is not good. The worst I have ever tried. A dollar cup of noodle would be better than that. Eat something else, the broth is bland, the noodles have no flavor and they are extra thick like no ramen I had before… meh… TRY ANOTHER PLACE for ramen 🍜 the limonade, also bad.
Best Ramen in Frankfurt by a big margin. They also serve amazing small Japanese dishes that change regularly. Tuna is really fresh and tasty and meat is soft and juicy. They also surround you with Japanese hospitality the moment you enter.
Yes, it is quite hard to get the table. For me, it helps to call on weekdays during or after lunch time. They also post on instagram when they accept bookings. I still hope that this can be changed at some point.

We really enjoyed our dinner. I highly recommend the "test plate" sushi, all of them are SO worthy. You can feel the Japanese vibes everywhere and the service was really nice and welcoming. It is a lil bit pricey, but the quality is unbeatable.
The food and the service are very good! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor.

Ich war schon mal hier. Heute habe ich das Mittagsmenu probiert und es ist super lecker und von Preis Leistung ist einfach top!! Wenn du mittags kommen würdest, lieber einen Tisch reservieren.

Not the best sushi but its very fine and good for a all you can eat and to be in Frankfurt.

Unfortunately can’t recommend. We came for a lunch, and ordered both an udon soup as a lunch offer which costed about 11 euros each but it tasted not nice like some fish stuff with only udon noodles inside that supposed to cost less than 2 euros in the store next to them. Very frustrated to pay for it more than 20 euros and as a part of the lunch deal. On top of that we had to wait for a really long time for the waitress to come to whom we can pay after we asked twice. Overall, it was not nice, and we had to go home and cook lunch one more time.
Super tasty Ramen! We also had some dumplings and sides (kimichi and edamame), which also were excellent. Including drinks and a dessert we paid ca 20 euros per person, which is a great price for such a bountiful, authentic and tasty dinner. Happy to return :)
Tasty Ramen with reasonable price. They also have vegetarian menu. The location is great, only a few minutes walk from Underground (U-Bahn).

Ich habe dort mein Schal vergessen. Die Mitarbeiterin hat mir telefonisch bestätigt dass Sie mein Shal hat. Beim Abholung wusste keine mehr wo mein Schal ist. Die restaurant Besitzerin ist sehr unseriös! Nie wieder !!!

Friendliest service, great food!! Higematsu is the no.1 Japanese place in Frankfurt in my opinion especially for lunch - nothing cannot beat the price-quality ratio :)
What a pleasant surprise. I bumped into this place via google maps almost by chance. The restaurant is located in a quiet street next to the financial district but it doesnt stand out. It is a quirky little place run by a very friendly and bombastic japanese couple. The menu is quite simple consisting of mostly cold dishes: sashismi, maki rolls and miso soup. The quality of the sashimi was out of this world and we were entertained by the japanese owner.
Authentic Japanese food. Very delicious. Got the Tokujo Sushi, and a small salad. The sushi was so good. The salad dressing (soy sauce based) was a bit addictive. Wish they sold the salad dressing!
It is amazing, highly recommended. Performance and price ratio is unbelievable good.

Supposed to be a “cheap and cheerful” place but the quality is subpar, portions are unsatisfactory and the price unjustifiable. Service is really nice though which could make up for it if you wouldn’t get a stomach ache every time you ate there…
Tried to come and called to order a table. I ordered it to 18-00, I am pretty sure, we have just arrived in Frankfurt and we very hungry.
But when we came, we were told that we had ordered a table to 19-30.

We visited Frankfurt the second week of December. We wanted to try sushi here so I just googled and Moriki came up with good reviews. I called to make sure they had table since we travelled with young children, but they were fully booked for the night. The person answered the phone sounded very nice over the phone so I decided to make reservation online for the next day, and I was glad I did. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. The ambiance was fancy, definitely fit for a celebration/anniversary. I felt like we over ordered since we wanted to try many dishes here, but we didn’t regret it. All the dishes were delicious. Service was okay. It could be better since it’s pretty pricey here. Honestly, we were aware the dining service in Germany is different compared to the US so we didn’t expect a top notch service. I would come back if I ever visited Frankfurt again.
Very very good. I stopped in here for twenty minutes: green tea, chicken gyoza. Excellent, not very expensive either. I would come back again if I were in the area. Thank you.
This is probably the best Japanese in town so far. We only order sushi and sashimi and they taste 70% to the original ones you taste in japan.

I found the meat and noodles were a bit less as compared to the soupy water.

Quick stop for dinner after first night arriving in frankfurt. Food quality and taste was great. Everything freshly prepared and presented exquisitely. Relaxing atmosphere and all crockery were clean. Staff were polite and friendly. The only downfall was very slow service. Restaurant was not fully packed, but took a while to take our order, and each item arrived separately, around 10 mins apart.
Ein authentisches japanisches Restaurant im Bankenviertel von Frankfurt. Das Servicepersonal war sehr nett und das Essen war schnell am Tisch. Ich hatte ein Mittagsmenü mit geschmortem Schweinebauch, welcher sehr zart war. Dazu gab es kostenlos grünen Tee, wie das in Japan meist üblich ist. Preisleistung war auch top.

We had dinner a bit late but it's because they were booked out but they still managed to get us a table 🙌🏾. For special occasions it would be definitely a good place to go.

The food was frozen that they thawed. Our gyoza was cold inside and burnt outside. They gave my German boyfriend forks and gave me (Asian) chopsticks. When we asked for forks for me and chopsticks for my boyfriend they told me to exchange but eventually gave us both bc we insisted. The walnuts in the salad were old and pork with kimchi had really strong old pork flavor. Btw they only accept cash which should be written bigger on the door. Overall experience was rude and not tasty. I would not come back.

I prefer the pre-pandemic era rather than currently. The menu had a greater variety of dishes and they did have teppanyaki. The food remains delicious and the service also, but I miss the old days.

This is still my favorite Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt. Fabulous Sushi. The lunch menu Sushi is particularly good value. Make sure to call ahead to make a reservation since this restaurant is rather small and easily fully booked.
Great experience 1st time trying Japanese and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful every dish tasted.
Great spot to eat some ramen. It is not too pricey and the place has a nice atmosphere. However, it tends to be rather loud in there once there are more than 3 groups of people.
The vegetarian soups are one of the best I have ever eaten because they actually taste like authentic food and not some weird version to just appease vegetarian ( I am one myself).
A friend of mine said that the curries are just alright, so be aware of that.

Had an incredible dinner experience at Muku ! The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was on point. We tried Muku Ramen , Furi Furi Men , Karage , Prawns tempura and mores.. No doubt, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt. Every dish we tried was a taste sensation. Big shoutout to the wonderful ambiance and impeccable service. Highly recommended !!
Amazingly delicious food and very good hospitality. The food was better than what I had tasted in Japan, and one of the best meals I have had all year. Would definitely recommend making a reservation, or come before opening time and hope to get a table (we were very lucky to have done this).
Traditional original Japanese food and sushi is highly recommended. It is a bit expensive but worth the price. Very delicious, friendly and kind service.

Very delicious food and different (better) quality than the average sushi restaurants. The duck dish that i had was amazing and perfectly done with very delicious teriyaki sauce. The chocolate desert was also excellent!
However, the atmosphere bothered me a little bit because it was very crowded, loud and there was not so much space between the tables. Also note that the prices are a bit higher.

Das Sushi war sehr gut und die Bedienung extrem freundlich, er hat uns alles erklärt und Empfehlungen ausgesprochen.
Lediglich die Lokalität, auch wenn sie in einem authentischen Stil gehalten ist, könnte in der Preisklasse einige Verschönerungen vertragen.

Excellent service and good atmosphere but There was simply no innovation in the food .. each flavor can also be found in any other good Sushi restaurant.. so I simply don’t understand the hype of this place! I believe all the hype is just for its prime location! I’m not coming back, for the price there are many better fine dine places in town!

The nigiri and rolls are fresh and huge, and the kitchen works fast in refilling the conveyor belt during rush hours.
It's always a good idea to reserve a table on Friday nights or weekends, or come earlier to save yourself a seat.

Hands down the best Japanese place in town. The Sushimoto menu has 8 delicious courses and is absolutely worth the €60. We sat at the sushi counter and received excellent service.
