They should never have changed the housing officers around. New one is rude and inconsiderate, doesn’t listen to any problems. Talked over me repeatedly on the phone, showed up to surveyor visit with no prior warning or announcing who he was. Made snarky remarks. Lesley was lovely and very considerate.

If you have an auto immune disease do NOT rent with Karbon because they will just gaslight you and convince you it’s your fault that you have black mould, because you put a pan on and turned the oven on as soon as they came and the window and extractor in every room wasn’t on. landlords aren’t allowed to do this but welcome to lawless land. Housing officer made remarks about cause of mould without even knowing what caused it lol. Tried to argue and blame me.

If you complain you’re apparently ungrateful since living behind your local bins is worse, and your complaint is closed, had Karbon staff make several remarks as to how awful their company is. No names but it’s no wonder. My MP has written to Karbon Homes’ owners many times but do they change anything? Nope. They never replied even. In fact their voids team said ‘We told Yazmin not to do XYZ’ thanks for lying, you do realise I can see what you’ve written? You never told me anything.

Do not dream of sending me the voids team again because I feel uncomfortable with someone sending someone over who won’t do anything and will just say nothing when he’s here. His bestie lobbed concrete in the corner on my bathroom floorboards so now I can’t get any new flooring put down in my bathroom. Lovely.

Horrible organisation! Their staff on the customer service team are lovely but there’s so little they can do when their actual teams who deal with the maintenance are hopeless at best and couldn’t run a piss-up in a brewery.

I've had my electricity stolen, landlord gave spare keys to my flat to people so they could drug me and steal from me. They hacked my phone and laptop. They were pumping gas from under the floorboards into my house. STAY AWAY.

The worst housing ever. Had damp and mould for over 4 months and still haven't had anyone to come out and sort it, got 6 jobs logged for repairs, take days off work and they never come on the day they said, end up waiting all day for no one to come, or call or leave a card.

When you do see workers in vans for repairs they are sitting outside your property on their phone for hours but yet claim to be so busy.

They've increased my rent two times because of the "service they provide". Also my housing manager goes on leave several times despite reporting anti social behaviour of neighbours on several occasions.

Don't waste your time, no one has a clue what they are doing, no responsibility from anyone so they have no accountability.

Certainly do not recommend. Done more harm than good. Not fit to work with autistics.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Horrible agency. Breaking of confidentiality and rude, threatening staff.
Never live in "Towers house" unless you want the most invasive, cruel and dangerous "care" there is!
My flat almost got set on fire by their faulty electricity and they didn't care or do anything about it. I wish I had taken legal action against them for several reasons.
Beware of their good reviews on trustpilot, which are complete lies. They have bots put on good reviews to boost their low rating. Notice how after every bad review, a dozen good ones suddenly spring up.

Karbon eh ? Their stated policy ' to become the biggest housing provider in North-East '...formerly " Isos " ( did they change their name to avoid any confusion with " I.S." ? ) They began by swallowing Newcastle's caring Assoc's which had human support workers, & then gobbled up any Co they could. A senior Housing politician told me they " have no Soul ". Karbon will TAKE your soul & anything they can extort from you. They will say anything & smile so sweetly until you are ' signed & committed '...then they will deny your Human Rights & screw you for every penny they can.
If you have BOUGHT from them, they may treat you as a VIP...if you're vulnerable & cannot buy, you will be treated like dirt compared to any neighbor who ' owns ' .Housing Assoc's are largely Govt / Council funded, formerly charities. They do land & property deals with cash-strapped councils...in this era of austerity. Karbons attitude stinks worse than the most corrupt corporates. They take from Public funds, cream off profits to line executive nest eggs & fund extravagant ' publicity ', & they'll take Local councils & tax payers money...you will be made to feel you have little Right, that it isn't your ' home'.
The ONLY THING KARBON value or respect, is the filthy money they extort, by whatever means. They know there's a housing shortage, & they know how to manipulate YOU & Councils... & Karbon are gonna milk it for every drop of your hard-earned or hard-suffering blood.
A total disgrace.

My name is Alan Campbell and i live in Buxton Close in Jarrow, i have just had some Major Refurbishments ( New Kitchen, New Bathroom & Full Central Heating Throughout ) done to my Home and want to take this opportunity to Thank ALL at Isos for all they have done to make my life here that little more Comfortable.
The Work, the Fixtures and Fittings are in my Opinion of a very High Standard and are much Appreciated by not just myself but also my Neighbours too. I would Personally like to Thank Margaret for her Very Professional interaction and Handling at the launch of the Project when visiting myself and others and helping us Fully Understand just what was in store before the work started, i would also like to say a BIG thank you to the Project Manager whom i believe to be called John !, who has been on hand to answer any Queries we the tennants may have had before, during and after the work has been in progress, he is a Massive Asset to the Isos team in my opinion.
As for the workers and contractors i can only say this, they have been more than professional in their work and in their people handling skills, Especially the two Gas Fitters Gary and Hamed who stayed very late to return warmth and Cleanliness back to my home before they left, they took a lot of Pride in their work and their people skills also are second to none, " Thank you Guys, was a Pleasure having you's working in my home ".
Once again i Thank You Isos, your association is Second to None . .
