I am very satissifed with Sixt esspecialy with employe in the Dortmund Airport, her name is AnkeS . She is amazing worker and everytime i find here there i feel very confortable to take the car. She is so helpful and welcoming. 🙌

Staff Members were useless at two location and would not listen to concerns. Requested to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager on site and what did I need a manager for. This was in Germany. Maybe other locations have better staff.

Car was fine and later needed to add a cross boarded to the contract, call center was helpful. Add on fee was reasonable. Be aware they charge you literally for everything.

Issue with deposit. A month has passed since the end of my trip, but the 300 EUR deposit has still not been returned to me. I'm still waiting for my money back.

Worst car rental experience ever.
I returned the vehicle on time, without damage and a full tank and after a week, they charged me 178 euros without any explanation.

As always Sixt is a great deal. It has great cars and in perfect condition. The renting procedure is fast and easy and the staff is very polite.

Booked a compact car, got a free upgrade to a brand new and well equipped SUV.
Pickup and drop-off were fast and flawless.

N ightmare: 1. they demand payment of 1,050 euros for a scratch on the side part of the bumper, which was there before the rental, 2. they rented me a different car than I ordered, 3. the car was deliberately parked in such a way that the pole at the airport covered the scratch, 4. no person from sixt when picking up the car 5. no copy of the customer contract signed in the office 6. the car was not clean - there were empty glass bottles under the driver's seat, which during the journey posed a threat to the lives of my children who were traveling in the back seat.
7. They completely ignored me and the photo evidence while completing the clarification survey. In response, they sent me the account number to which I should transfer the money. 8. they did not show photos from the previous rental. I feel cheated. Be careful with this company. Don't be deceived. Car rental date 23-25/09/2023. Best regards

I was completely disapointed with my last Budget car rental experience in Dortmund airport. The rental company debited my account without my permission invoking an indent pretented to be done by myself.LuckilIy took a video footage of the car the moment I return it because nobody from the company did any inspection.When I showed them the movie proofing the date and place with the damage- free car, with a unbelievable
sarcasm they stated that I did it when I took over the car!
After a long email exchange they return the amount.
Be very carefull and ask always a final inspection when returning the car.

So... I arrived happily to Dortmund Airport. I rented a car, a week earlier, and payed with a company card... everything perfect, so far.
Now, I need to pay for the warranty. Surprise... I can't pay with the same company card and also no Visa Electron (or cash). Conclusion... I can't receive the car. You shouldn't call yourself a business.
