I was scheduled for an endoscopy on April 26th at the Lst surgical center. Upon my arrival I was told I needed to go to the hospital for the procedure. I NEVER received a location change prior to my arrival. At the hospital I was informed my insurance denied the authorization and they knew this information weeks in advance and NEVER contacted me with that information. While sitting at the admission desk I called my insurance to ask why the authorization was denied and was told because they didn’t what to pay the cost of the hospital however they would have covered the cost at the surgical center. I received many pre register calls and I paid a $300 copay which I will request my refund. This unprofessional behavior by all persons involved is unacceptable and I will change medical staff once open season arrives. Horrible service and I would not recommend anyone using their services.
