A large eating place, plenty good Korean food to choose from. Great view of the planes too.

Very good ox tail soup with rice and noodles! I ate two bowls before my flight to EWR.

This food court is a bit disappointing, considering the size of the area and the size of the terminal. I get it; in Korea, food shops/stalls are small, but this is in an international airport terminal that was built in 2017 and expanded since that time. This food court has 5-6 vendors plus a bar, and the seating area for all of them is maybe 1500sf (140m²). There is a paid lounge across the hall, and it is probably 3 times larger than this food court area. Our timing was such that finding a place to sit was hard.
Ordering food is by self-service kiosk if paying by credit or in-person if paying with cash. The sign says find a seat before ordering. The self-service kiosk didn't have beers available to order, so I had to go to the in-person line. Once I negotiated the ordering process, the rest was easy. You get a beeper when you order and wait, then retrieve your order from the designated vendor. I had the tonkatsu tenderloin from Saboten the Original Shinjuku Tonkatsu, I was impressed. It was the best tonkatsu I can remember ever having. The miso soup was so-so. If I find this place out on the economy, I would definitely go again, but in this airport terminal, it would depend.

Wide variety of food choices. Fast serving for travellers. They will inform diners the waiting time so that travelers can decide if we are able to wait bearing in mind the limited time before boarding a plane.

Korean home cooking shop was delicious. Self order kiosk had an attendant to assist who spoke English. Once you order/pay, take the beeper and find a seat.

Multiple offers: soft tofu stew, korean Jjambbong, kimchi stew, etc.

Overall not bad at all for airport food! A wonderful entry into Korea! With all its staples!

Extremely efficient and clean!

We opted to go where most of the local travelers seem to go for lunch at the airport and followed around the corner, up the escalator, and to this corner of the second floor. The staff were very helpful with English-speaking customers, especially when using the touch screen to order food from the 4 (or 5)? different restaurants. The area was very busy but there was enough seating space. The food was different but still delicious.

There are multiple Food Empire food court locations. This is a review of the Terminal 1 East location on the 4th floor, accessed via escalators near the Paris Baguette.

It’s not at all clear when you first enter that this is a Korean style food court. Meaning that the menus and ordering is all done at a single central counter (and accompanying kiosk) just as soon as you get off the escalator. Don’t bother wandering around to the food stalls, you cannot order or see anything (except maybe other people’s orders). Also the court layout is a giant u or n shape, and you can only access one leg or the other through a narrow pass through located just as soon as you get off the escalator. Also there are bathrooms entrances located in the narrow passthrough. So in case it’s not obvious yet, there’s a lot of people and traffic all jammed up just as soon as you step off the escalator.

Once you shove yourself around the people waiting in line to see the menus which are located on three separate walls behind the line of people waiting to order, and decide what to order, you can wait in line to pay in cash and talk to a person, or you can use the kiosk. I recommend the kiosk because there isn’t a line for that.

Once you order you get a number. Find a seat near the food stall you ordered the food from. But don’t stay there. You will need to go to a narrow hallway ish space to stand around and block traffic to look at the monitor that tells you if the order is ready. Or you can just constantly go up the stall with your ticket whenever something that looks like your order appears.

The food itself was ok. The pricing was super reasonable (as of this moment it’s $1 to 1300 won, so that helps, but a can of coke was about 2,200 won whereas the same can at LaGuardia is like $5, so it’s very reasonable for airport food). Facilities were clean except for the tourists who don’t know to bus their own tables. But the staff cleaned those tables off fairly quickly.

If this wasn’t in an airport I’d rate much lower, but the reasonable pricing and decent food options make up for that fact. the major complaint here is the super confusing layout and order system.

인천공항 제2터미널 지하1층 공항철도 가기 전에 있습니다. 한국 와서 첫 한식이었는데 맛있게 먹었어요.
11시 조금 지나고나서 비행기 도착해서 그런지는 모르겠는데 사람 많이 밀렸습니다. 점심 드실꺼면 11시 맞춰서 오시는게 좋을 것 같아요. 포장은 불가합니다.

사람 많고 바빠서 그런지 키오스크쪽에 직원분 계셨는데 약간 불친절하게 대하신거 빼고는 괜찮았어요

국내들어와 처음 먹은 한식이에요
2층 비싼곳보다 가성비 좋고 음식도 빨리 나오는 편입니다
줄이 길지만 금방 줄어들긴해요
식사들 대체적으로 맛있고 오징어돌솥과 계란찜이 잴로 맛있네요
잘먹고 지방 버스 타고 내려왔는데 4시간 이후에도
속이 든든하네요

During my visit to Incheon Airport Terminal 2, I had a delightful experience exploring the food court. The variety of options available was impressive, ranging from local Korean delicacies to international cuisine.

As I enjoyed my meal, I couldn't help but appreciate the cleanliness and organization of the food court, making it a pleasant dining environment.

After finishing my meal, I had the opportunity to explore other food stalls, offering a diverse range of snacks and beverages. The convenience of having so many choices in one place made my layover at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 not only enjoyable but also a culinary adventure. Overall, the food court experience at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 left a positive impression, and I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

The food is great but minus 1 star for spicy soup. Even the disk i ask for no spice but the soup is still spicy. maybe it comes from same pot. But Korean cuisine is spicy food and cannot avoid it for all. But the service is great supporting.

Inside Incheon Airport I struggled hard to get a morning light food, even there are limited food outlets and they have limited options.
Finally after 30-45 minutes walk i found this food court on upstairs even help of google map doesn’t work for me 😂, i choose garlic chicken and soda drinks, for me chicken was sweeter than I expected. Cheers

Incheon T1 Airport/ 20240302 Whopper was reheated in the microwave bottom of the bun was so hot I could not touch it. Vegi are not fresh. Whole BK Korean buns are day old/ stale . I will never buy BK burgers in Korea. I will stay with Mac or Lotterie in Korea. BK is best in North America.

Food court is located on 2nd level, opposite the tax refund area on level 1. Very popular items are their Korean rice sets. Central ordering system so need to queue up to place order where the big menu is up on the light boxes. Collection is at the specific individual stations. A buzzer is provided but need to check the buzzer cuz ours didn’t buzz when ready. Text on buzzer changes. The only down part is that drinks collection were one station and rice set another, also noodles was a different one. They have water dispenser too.

Price of food is value for money and taste is better than expected. Will definitely come here again when I am departing from this same terminal.

다양한 먹을거리가 있지만 여기선 솔만두에서 주문했다.
차돌짬뽕에 고기만두 세트+만두세트를 시켰는데
두명이서 먹기는 괜찮았다.
근데...차돌짬뽕..진짜 찐하고 묵직하다.
먹으면서 땀이..난다. 후아...
만두는 그리 특별한것은 느끼지 못했고 그냥 쏘쏘하다.
그 다음날...
아침에 일어나서 일상적이지 않은 화장실일을 봐야했다.
어제 맵게 먹은 차돌짬뽕 탓이라.
전반적으로 괜찮았다.

한국 입국하자마자 김치부터 찾게되네요.
김치찜이랑 김치찌개중에 고민하다가 김치찌개 주문했는데 주문하고 얼마 안기다려서 음식이 나왔고 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 여러식당이 모여있는 곳이라 한식말고 중식도 있고 입맛에 맞게 골라서 드시면 됩니다.

진짜 예전엔 공항에서 먹는 식사를 크게 기대하지 않았는데… 2달 정도 해외있다가 먹어서 그런지 너무 맛있어서 깜짝 놀람!

개인적으로 교동짬뽕 별로 안좋아하는데 이곳에서 먹은 해물짬뽕은 양과 맛이 너무 훌륭함!
옆 테이블 외국인들도 김치와 주문한 음식을 싹싹 비우는거보고 한국인으로서 흐뭇함!

이제 공항올때마다 챙겨 먹어야 겠습니다!

This place is awesome. I can't believe how nice authentic Korean food they were serving. Great place to spend time while waiting for another flight.
