Acabando de entrar, primera vez que entro. No había nadie para atender al público ni en la puerta ni cerca. Estaba absolutamente vacío, así que la persona encargada no estaba ocupada adentro atendiendo a nadie. De hecho, la encontré al lado de la caja registradora, casi escondida, mirándome, sin darme la bienvenida ni un saludo siquiera. Parecía un maniquí más de los que tienen ahí. Tuve que hablarle yo primero. Le dije que no la había visto, y solo sonrió. Le pregunté si trabajaba ahí y me dijo que sí, siempre parada ahí sin moverse. Pareciera que no quieren vender. Alguien que quiere vender y se preocupa, no se desempeña de esa manera.

Y trabajo en servicio al cliente en el mismo Viejo San Juan.

Nice, quality items. Gifts were NOT tacky, in my opinion. Prices were reasonable. We got two t-shirts and a few candles which were beautiful. The store layout was organized, not overwhelming and salespeople were kind.

The shop is tucked away on a busy street. Don't be fooled by just looking in the front window. As it opens up into a much larger store in the balthough, the shirts are not the most inexpensive.
It clearly has a large enough variety. For short stay hotel goers. If you have the time you can also find other souvenirs in old San Juan, but for your money and being on this small hotel strip. This is one of the best places to stop.
