A beautiful, historic shopping mall in Jakarta, Indonesia.

I have been coming to this place since when I was a kid with my parents. Then the building underwent a major renovation and it becomes a wonderful destination for all.

I saw some original reliefs from the old buildings being showcased and it's beautiful.

It has many wonderful cafes and restaurants as well here. Sarinah department store is also reinvigorated and now they have more collections, especially Indonesian designers which are beautifully curated. It has fashion, shoes, souvenirs, arts & crafts, traditional food, and more. They also have many festivals or special events being conducted in this premise.

It is disability friendly as well, with ramps and lifts available.

Okay place to shopping.

A heritage mall which has lots of unique local craft and a duty-free section. Good place for last-minute souvenir shopping. Staff were friendly and not overbearing.

Nice designer ready to wear batik but easily a few million Rupiahs.

Prices are high though, a bar of chocholate which is exactly the same can cost 50k Rupiahs in Grand Indonesia Mall and cost 80k Rupiahs here. Mall looks more dated than the Grand Indonesia. Some nice and quaint eateries as well.

Overall, a tourist spot.

Nice place to have a get together. There's a park in front of it and a rooftop. Provide a wide variety of food, from croissant to satay : Canggu, Raacha,Mangkokku, Satay House Senayan, Honest Spoon, and many more.

A heaveb for those who enjoy traditional things.

Sarinah Jakarta is a go-to for anyone looking to relax after work. With its vast array of food and beverage choices, it’s the ideal spot to unwind and wait out the traffic jam. Highly recommended for a post-office hangout
