pinacoteca abbastanza carina, visitata a novembre 2023 con un po' di amici tutti minorenni quindi era gratis. c'era una mostra di sculture e anche una di futurismo ma purtroppo gran parte della pinacoteca era inaccessibile e questo ci ha delusi molto perché quella piccola parte accessibile era veramente molto bella. penso che ci ritorneremo perché siamo molto interessati all'arte. posizione molto comoda ed esterno bellissimo.

Ich kann es wirklich jedem Empfehlen hier vorbei zuschauen .

Die Besichtigung der Gruft war ein Highlight unseres Palermo-Aufenthaltes. Es ist beeindruckend, wie durch chemische Prozesse menschliche Körper über Jahrhunderte so haltbar gemacht werden können. Wir blieben 1,5 Stunden und ließen uns Zeit, um alles auf uns wirken zu. Rosalia wirkt wie ein schlafendes Mädchen und nicht wie eines, das vor über 100 Jahren verstorben ist! Es ist recht schwierig einen Blick auf sie zu erhaschen, da die Absperrung und die schlechten Lichtverhältnisse das verhindern. Ich hätte gerne 5 Sterne gegeben, aber es fehlen vor Ort Erklärungen, die diese tolle Erfahrung noch einzigartiger gemacht hätten.
Bei den Toiletten, die eigentlich neu und gut ausgebaut sind, fehlten Seifenspender/Toilettenpapier und Sauberkeit.
An diesen Dingen kann man ja noch arbeiten.

Das war das Beste in Palermo. Einfach klasse. Nehmen Sie sich Zeit um alles zu sehen.
A must see site in Palermo and would rate is one of the best sites in the city. The small church inside is stunning and adored with plethora of decorations. Very interesting indeed.
Not worth €18.50 p/p for what you get. You see some relics. Mostly broken pottery, some jewelry, etc. However, it's so dark it's hard to read the signs telling you what things are. The archeology sites are fascinating, some of which you get similar for free in other cities. The garden was small and not overly exciting. The Chapel was impressive. You don't get to see the royal apartments or other displays that were open without more tickets/€€. I didn't try the toilets because I was told they're €2, ridiculous.

Il Palazzo merita, ma l'ultimo piano era chiuso. In pratica la parte più bella. Per andare al bagno 50 centesimi. E l'ingresso quasi 20 euro a testa. Voi che dite?
all interno del palazzo reale più antico di Europa che vale la visita esclusivamente per la cappella Palatina unica nel suo genere..se pensate di andare fatelo dal venerdì alla domenica unici giorni nei quali è consentita la visita anche agli appartamenti reali..dal lunedì al giovedì, che non sono visitabili,lo scoprite dopo aver preso i biglietti
Se vi trovate a Ravenna non potete non visitare la Cappella Palatina.

Una de las muchas maravillas de Palermo, está situada en el centro de la planta baja del palacio real, es un santuario dedicado a San Pedro, el conjunto Palermo Árabe Normando fue incluido en la lista de Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO. Es de más bonito que he visto, realmente espectacular!!!
Greta experience - ticket is €19. Buy the tickets outside. Very clean inside and well taken care of but a bit ridiculous they make you pay for the toilet at this price.

Macabere plek. Je mag de middag pauze niet vergeten.
Ganz nett aber Preis Leistung stimmt hier gar nicht, man muss 15,50€ für den Eintritt bezahlen, find ich nicht angemessen. Würde ich nicht nochmal machen. Die andere Ausstellung ('Thesaurus') sollte zeitgenössisch sein, war aber absolut furchtbar und altbacken.

Muss man gesehen haben....aber in Monreale gibt es das "gleiche" noch mal eine Nummer größer für den gleichen Eintrittspreis.
Well worthwhile seeing: it’s massive. Especially the old palace (in the courtyard, last entrance on the right). I went on a spring day and the huge terrace covered in flowering blossoms was magnificent. I wish they had kept more of the original wall coverings though. For some reason in Palermo they love ceilings but don’t care much for ancient frescos.
The palazzo was inexplicably and unannounced shut. With no re-open date. According to Google it’s open, you make the effort, and then: chiuso. Epic fail.

La Chapelle Palatine de Palerme est un joyau architectural à ne pas manquer ! Dès l'entrée, on est émerveillé par la richesse des mosaïques dorées qui ornent chaque recoin. C'est un lieu qui raconte l'histoire de Palerme de manière impressionnante et émouvante. Je recommande vivement cette visite à tous ceux qui passent par la ville !
This is truly my highlight of 1 week Palermo. A place where modern art, architecture, design and history merge. So much focus on detail. At the desk I got an English guide book that was very helpful to have.

Het is wel vreemd om tussen de skeletten door te lopen en als je een gang gezien hebt dan heb je het eigenlijk wel gezien maar het kost maar 5,- dus dat valt wel mee.

Sehr beeindruckende Gruft mit Toten aus vielen Jahrhunderten. Die kleine Rosalia sieht einfach auch im Tod gut aus!!!! Der Eintritt von fünf Euro ist einen Besuch wert.
Einfach hingehen und staunen. Ganze Welt ist mit Spielpuppen (Marionetten) vertreten! Sehr sehenswert Ausstellung im asiatischen Raum!!
Very nice. Capella Palatina is magnificent with all the mosaics, decorations and details, really very impressive and worth visiting. Royal apartments were interesting too, with carved ceilings and nice frescos. The gardens are rather small for a royal castle , but nice and clean, a bit of deceived by Thesaurus - definitely not enough light. But in general Norman Palace is a place to visit in Palermo
I really liked this museum. It is not big , but is is situated in very nice building ( properly palazzo Abatellis) and has a nice collection of religious paintings, wood carvings and marble statues and bareliefs . Also the restorators are working directly in the museum halls. We had a chance to see the process of art restoration
Palazzo Butera is a real perle. Very well renovated (even is not finished completely). Contains the pieces of different styles and epochs, for any taste. It possesses a splendid terrasse with sea and Palermo view. The plants in the yard are really gorgeous and in the harmony with the palace itself
I was very lucky to have Antonio Gifra as a tour guide when on BBC May 30, 2024, I joined a guided tour of Palazzo Steri. The Palazo has a long history of pre-Spanish and inquisition times: the tour itself was very informative and Antonio was superb in narrating the harrowing history.

Every time there is free entry Sunday the place closes for technical reasons. Miraculously all problems are gone the next day when they can charge a hefty entry fee ...

Dopo una mezz'oretta di fila, ci si trova davanti ad un vero e proprio gioiello. La ricchezza dei mosaici è tale da confondere. Ovunque si girino gli occhi, c'è bellezza. Il dorato dei mosaici è folgorante!
Al secondo piano si trova il palazzo reale, preceduto dalla sala dell'assemblea regionale siciliana.
Le stanze visitabili non sono molte e si presentano piuttosto spoglie.
Una menzione particolare va fatta per la Sala di Ruggero la cui volta è completamente ricoperta di mosaici dorati, con animali ed alberi che evocano paesaggi esotici.
Per quanto si tratti di un'autentica meraviglia, forse 19 euro per l'ingresso sono tanti, del resto per visitare la Cattedrale di Monreale (con circa 6000 mq di mosaici) non si paga nulla.

Complesso monumentale bellissimo, vale la pena fare la fila per vederlo (un ora di fila🙁).
Per risparmiare tempo meglio acquistare i biglietti online, cosa che può essere fatta anche il giorno stesso. Particolare la cappella palatina, unica nel suo splendore. Assolutamente da non perdere se si va a Palermo

I missed the chance to see this museum because two different staff were so oddly toxic that I lost my appetite for the experience. In their defense it did seem that a higher up staff member was giving them grief for being so unwelcoming. I hope they eventually work out a policy to figure out how to tolerate foreign visitors.
Ein absolut besonderes Erlebnis. Die ersten Minuten waren bisschen gruselig, aber man gewöhnt sich recht schnell. Super faszinierend. Fotos sind selbstverständlich nicht erlaubt und es wird auch strikt darauf geachtet.
Ob ich mit Kindern dort hingehen würde weiß ich nicht. Kann vielleicht ein bisschen gruselig sein.

Ist schon ein eigenartiges Gefühl, wenn man die Mumien betrachtet. Der Friedhof nebenan ist auch eine Besichtigung wert
The palace is actually used by the Sicilian Parliament for regional government. The rooms used by the royal family have been preserved and available to visitors. The jewel of the palace is the Palatine chapel all decorated with golden mosaics in Byzantine style. Interesting also the Pisan tower
This was one of the many palazzi in Palermo. One that is a little unknown maybe? So many works. So little people. Great information in every room on the artwork. Many at least 500-600 years old. Take a look at the photos. Mine and others. You get a great sense of the building. And the art. So well preserved and presented too. A must
Ein Traum! So viel Schönes auf einmal! Ein Muss für jeden Palermo Besucher. Zwar nicht sehr günstig aber jeden Cent wert. Beeindruckend!
Put Palazzo Butera at the top of your list! Not only an amazing architectural baroque masterpiece the art installations are exciting and surprising. Accompanied by detailed interpretation within a (free/loaned) guide. What a breath of fresh air. I hope I get the opportunity to visit again, soon!

Unieke plek, buiten het toeristische centrum van Palermo. De moeite waard, voor wat het maar kost. Opgelet, enkel cash betalen mogelijk!
An inspiring building re-use that is modern but leaves the sense of the Renaissance Palazzo. Collection is excellent from Norman to 16th Century - including an interesting floor of Caravaggio school that includes a fantastic VanEyck or two.
I highly recommend booking a visit, while you are not allowed to visit the Palazzo independently the hourly tour (in Italian & English) is very good value.
The guide gave significant insight both of the Palazzo's past history (most notably the period of the inquisition), and its current role as part of the university.

Such a beautiful setting for incredible works - the Carlo Scarpa designs in particular.
Ein sehr stiller und andächtiger Ort. Es ist erstaunlich wie gut teilweise die Leichname der verstorbenen Kapuziner erhalten sind. Der Leichnam des kleinen Mädchen ist erstaunlich gut erhalten. Sie lebte von 1918 bis 1920 und wurde nur zwei Jahre alt :( Es ist auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert und mit einem obligatorischen Eintritt von 5 Euro absolut sehenswert.
Heel bijzondere uitstap. We waren bang dat de zoon van 7 het eng zou vinden, maar hij vond het net fascinerend en heel jammer dat hij eens niet mocht voelen. 🙈 Je bent wel vrij snel rond.

Meest aparte 'museum' dat we ooit hebben bezocht. Je ziet heel veel mummies van heel dichtbij, en dat is het.

Die historische Kapelle im palazzo reale ist mit unzähligen byzantinischen Mosaiken und Gemälden sowie Verzierungen geschmückt. Unglaublich schön und sehenswert. Man muss für den Eintritt etwas Wartezeit mitbringen da der Ansturm schon größer ist. Die Karten um in den palazzo zu gelangen kauft man vorher bei Box Office Regione Siciliana in der P.za della Vittoria. Die Preise für die Karten sind erschwinglich. Wir würden empfehlen, dieses Ziel in der früh in Angriff zu nehmen damit die Wartezeit möglichst kurz ist.
Tolle Marionetten, Puppen aus vielen Teilen der Welt. Manche waren fast so groß wie ich selbst. Der Eintritt ist mit 5€ angemessen. Sehr zu empfehlen...👍
Das Museum präsentiert eine umfangreiche Sammlung von Marionetten und Puppen aus mehrere Länder in der ganze Welt. Ich fand das Museum sehr interessant und empfehle es unbedingt.
Es ist schon einige Jahre her, dass ich in diesem Marionetten Theater war. So einen tiefen Eindruck hat es bei mir hinterlassen, dass ich nun eine Rezension schreiben muss. Die Vorstellung war damals für Kinder, umso erstaunlicher war es für mich wie faszinierend, tiefgründig und großartig die Vorstellung und Geschichte war. Herzergreifend und sehr zu empfehlen!

Schönes kleines Museum mit internationalen Marionetten. Für 5 EU Eintritt pro Person lohnt es sich auf alle Fälle.
Ci siamo recati a Villa Zito per visitare la temporanea di Emilio Isgrò, ma altrettanto significativa è la raccolta permanente di questa pinacoteca allestita dalla Fondazione con le opere di proprietà del Banco di Sicilia. Un corpus ricco di paesaggi e ritratti di questo luogo incantevole. Le sale sono fruibili e i percorsi di visita ben organizzati, grazie a una segnaletica discreta ma puntuale. Diversi lavori (la Mattanza a Favignana, alcune miniature di Boldrini, la colata dell’Etna di Guttuso…) sono iconici e lo spazio dedicato al lascito del futurista Pippo Rizzo, una sorpresa piacevolissima e ironica. Un peccato che tutto questo evidentemente non basti a incrementare il numero dei visitatori: speriamo che la colpa sia del maestrale di fine febbraio. A proposito: abbiamo rilevato qualche discrepanza tra gli orari indicati da Google Maps e quelli effettivamente in vigore, meglio verificare sul sito ufficiale, molto ben realizzato.
Bel luogo dove vivere un esperienza 4icca di arte e architettura, uno dei palazzi di Palermo privati ristrutturati ad arte e resi a disposizione della comunita con mostre di arte d'autore sia moderna che antica, diversi autori importanti sono stati esposti in questa galleria d'arte e alcune famiglie hanno donato diverse opere in beneficenza a questa struttura. Consiglio di visitarlo. Il tempo della visita è davvero breve e il costo del biglietto non è molto alto.
Sensationell!! Tolle Puppen, neben den bekannten Handpuppen und unendlich vielen, auch sehr großen (!) Marionetten auch sehr seltene Wasserpuppen aus Vietnam und Schattenpuppen aus Indonesien. Beide mit Film in Aktion zu sehen! Tolles Museum für nur 5€ Eintritt immer wert zu besuchen!!

A pochi passi dal Giardino Inglese, affacciata su Via della Libertà, la settecentesca villa Zito ospita una collezione permanente di qualche centinaio di dipinti, che coprono un arco temporale che va dal 1600 al 1900. Recentemente ristrutturata, articola l'esposizione dei quadri su due piani, raccordati da un elegante scalone. L'allestimento è particolarmente curato e riuscito, le opere ben illuminate. Nei soffitti delle sale principali si possono osservare pregevoli decorazioni in stile liberty! Meravigliosi i dipinti dei paesaggisti ottocenteschi, come Lojacono, Leto, Bergler e Catti! Al piano superiore artisti del 900 come De Nittis, Boldini e Guttuso. Il biglietto di ingresso costa 5 euro, con possibili riduzioni se si possiedono altre tessere (es quella Arci); quando siamo andati noi non era ancora disponibile l'audioguida, ma lo sarà a breve. Anche se fuori dai tradizionali percorsi turistici, Villa Zito merita comunque una visita!
Bellissima esperienza a Villa Zito, ho avuto l'occasione di visitare la pinacoteca, un pratimonio pittorico meraviglioso! Spero di tornarci presto, il biglietto è costato 3 euro e il personale è stato molto gentile. All'intero si trova la caffetteria, bellissima location anche per un aperitivo.
